Cozy Cove Cabin: 3BR 2BA Modern Comfort Meets Rustic Charm
Nestled in the cool, serene Bald Creek Community, this cabin is the perfect escape from the heat. Bring a sweater and enjoy those crisp 50-degree evenings by the fire pit. Stock up on groceries and settle into this cozy log cabin that offers everything you need for an authentic mountain experience. The cabin features a well-equipped kitchen with large pots, a crock pot, and a Mr. Coffee maker. Stay connected and entertained with WiFi, cable TV, and a selection of games and puzzles. Warm up by the wood stove fireplace, complete with an ash bucket, and enjoy the spacious deck with outdoor seating and a picnic table by the cooking fire pit—ideal for a barbecue evening. Listen to the soothing sounds of a nearby creek and relax in the comfort of our cabin, which includes one king ensuite on the main level and one queen and two twins upstairs. Enjoy the cool mountain breezes without the need for AC, thanks to our ceiling fans. Looking for adventure? You're just 20 miles from the Biltmore Estate in Asheville and 12 miles from Lake Junaluska. We enjoyed this property. However there were a few concerns upon arrival. Communication with the property manager was answered promptly and courteously, resolving those concerns. We suggest taking your own drinking water as the water there is very rusty or maybe it’s iron. I also would not wash any clothes as the water stains your clothing. We stayed here in February and it was beautiful. I imagine it is even more beautiful in the summer months.
Everything was great. I highly recommend using the directions the owner gives you in locating the property. We did and made it a lot easier than it would have been using our navigation system.
Other than that tid bit….. everything was as listed and was amazing. We will definitely use this Vrbo again!

First off… the property is absolutely perfect. Super quiet, clean and superb internet. The roads are a little torn up from the hurricane but that’s to be expected. There was a little issue not being able to see the side road from where a bridge had washed out so try to travel during the day. The host had EVERYTHING needed for a quick stay. 100/10 would book this again.
The property was very satisfying. It gave you a chance to be inside or outside. Everything was supplied that was needed. And the beds were very comfortable. It was a very relaxing atmosphere
It’s perfect for those who really want to get away from everything. Located nearly at the top of the mountain, Neighboring homes are not that close, so it is private. Home is nicely decorated, and the Wi-Fi works extremely well. It made for a great relaxing week exclamation po!

House musty as if nobody had been in it for a long time. Water from all sources muddy. Driveway dangerous. Dead bugs in fridge. Porches dirty. Otherwise, a nice house, though isolated and no cell service. We left after one night.
We had a great time at the cabin. The large living room was perfect for visiting. They also provided a booster chair and a pack n play for our infant. The bedrooms were all huge, and gave us plenty of space. Wifi worked perfectly, and the checkin/check out process was easy, thanks to an automatic lock. Under an hour to Asheville, and plenty of hiking and nature trails in the nearby area. There is a gorgeous Vedic temple at the top of the mountain as well!
The only negatives were small, and we were prepared for some, as they were mentioned in previous reviews. Water pressure was not great, and if someone was showering, no other water should be run at all. We noticed a brown tinge to the water, and when we reached out to the management, they said the water just needed to be run a while (some guests may prefer to bring their own bottled drinking water). And finally, the description made it seem like there was a second gaming TV — there isn’t — it’s a smart TV in the living room, no additional gaming systems.
Overall, the cabin was perfect for our extended family getaway, and we would absolutely stay again!
This property is located in a rural area - nice and quiet! Although I've visited the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area many times, I had never driven through the Clyde/Canton area - lots of open, scenic farmland made the drive to and from the cabin enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again - many thanks to the owner for sharing this beautiful retreat!
We had a wonderful experience at this cozy cabin up in the mountains. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth and easy and the rental company was very responsive via text and email. The cabin was very clean and well supplied with linens, towels, toilet paper, and kitchen supplies. The lighting in the cabin was a little dark and there was some sound transference between floors, but it was the perfect space for our group. The area is quiet and beautiful with kind neighbors who welcomed us and brought us a dozen fresh eggs from their hens. The cabin is about 15min from the nearest town and 45min from downtown Asheville. It is located on mountain roads that are a little harrowing if you arrive after sunset, but once we got used to it and took the roads slowly, we didn't have any problems. The second driveway is VERY steep, but the first driveway can fit two small sedans. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this spot for a fall getaway.
Property was perfect for our group of friends. Was a good base camp for our exploration of Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway area. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Only negative would be lack of good pans to prepare meals at home, but that is easily remedied.
