I bought the apartment in 2013, renovated and equipped with the most modern appliances.

IF YOU WANT TO STAY - GUARANTEED !!
And although the apartment is so centrally located (5 minutes to the new Metro M4), you still have a very quiet location. Also the neighborhood is very friendly and so you get to know the Hungarian hospitality close up.

The party miles and places of the city center are within easy reach. Most of the sights and museums are also within easy reach ...
In just a few minutes you can walk to one of the city's major traffic points - Blaha Lujza ter - from here you are in the shortest time at all corners of the city. There are also some large shopping centers in the immediate vicinity. Just around the corner is the police headquarters of the 8 district of Budapest - which speaks for security in the street.

First time in Budapest

I came to visit my niece. Turns out she lives close to the apartment. The area had easy access to transit and the subway station. There were also stores and restaurants nearby. A good location and very affordable.

My wife and I for the first time we use the VRBO web site to book this property. The booking was very easy and Viktor very helpful responding all my questions. We choose Viktor property for the downtown location and the price. At the moment we arrived, I was a little bit uncomfortable for the building condition and the entrance appearance, however, when I saw the apartment, I was amaze of the beauty and condition. It was small, good for couple, very clean, charming with all the amenities. If I would travel back to Budapest, definitely I will look for Viktor place. Thanks so much. Regards Miguel

Gut Lage es ist alles EINKAUFEN, RESTAURANT 'S BAR' S in der Nähe.

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber ist jederzeit erreichbar gewesen. Das Apartment verfügt über alle wichtigen Dinge die für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt werden.

Nice location, average apartment

This was in a good location, and everything was functional inside. However, the water bed was not too comfortable, the apartment was not very clean, and the couch smelled like sweat.

Un piso muy completo y bien comunicado.

El piso es pequeño pero tiene de todo y funcionan bien todos los electrodomésticos, son nuevos. Muy cerca de líneas de metro, de un gran mercado, de restaurantes, tiendas, oficinas de cambio de dinero...Si llegas tarde también hay cerca supermercados que abren 24 h...La persona que te acoge no sabe inglés ni español (otros no sé), pero se hace entender perfectamente y no hubo ningún problema con ello. Hemos disfrutado mucho de la estancia.

Klein und gemütlich, zentral gelegen in einem Haus aus 1898

Kleines gemütliches Apartment, zentral gelegen somit können in 1/2 bis 1 Stunde auch viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreicht werden. Von außen sieht man dem Gebäude das Alter an jedoch im Apartment findest mal alles was man braucht nur leider ist kein Parkplatz dabei.

Fabulous accommodations

I wanted to take a few moments, and document my experience renting Viktor's flat in Budapest. First off, our contact with Viktor was almost immediate (within 1 hour) of booking his flat on VRBO. He was the most gracious host, even before meeting us. I was traveling to Budapest from Krakow, with my oldest daughter (15) to meet with some friends. Our travel arrangements unfortunately had us arrive in Budapest at 0430 hours in the morning, which ended up being no problem at all, since Viktor provided me, personally, with detailed directions/instructions on locating the flat from Népliget station. Viktor was waiting, personally I might add, at the flat when we arrived at around 0530 hours. He welcomed my daughter and I very warmly, and began to make our stay very relaxed, by explaining how to use the electronic devices, the central air conditioning unit, and all the other extras his flat provided. I bet he spent at least 30 minutes ensuring our stay was the best Budapest had to offer. We needed only our clothes, and bathing items, as EVERYTHING was provided for in the flat. The linens were very clean, and smelled fresh, both beds (especially the waterbed in loft) were extremely comfortable. The pantry was full of coffee, tea, cappuccino, and all the items needed to cook your own meals. The kitchen was not missing a single item needed to cook your own meals, if this is what you like doing. The refrigerator was big, the freezer had plenty of ice and ice trays, and it even had a new dishwasher to wash everything for you after an awesome meal. The shower and bathroom were squeaky clean, and the massaging shower heads were heaven. The flat also provided a washing machine, and several drying racks to hang laundry on. I could not have felt safer in the neighborhood, and the flat is so centrally located, we walked the majority of both Buda, and Pest. The area around the flat hosts about every type of food a person would love and most are open very late. The wifi worked flawlessly, and the satellite television up and downstairs provided much entertainment. The air conditioning gets cold if you like it that way, and the flat provided plenty of room to stretch out. I can not remember any noises that kept me awake, nor any complaints about the flat worth remembering. To make the stay any better than it already was, Viktor allowed us to check out at 2000 hours versus 1200 noon, due to our departure time from Budapest being at 2200.

Fabulous apartment

We booked our stay in Viktors flat a few days prior to arriving in Budapest and within an hour heard back from Viktor. Immediately he was helping make our trip ten times easier by providing us with exact routes to get us from the bus terminal to his flat. Once we arrived (which was at 5am) in Budapest Viktor was waiting at the rental, personally, to greet me and my 15 year old daughter with kind words and a smile. Viktor then spent the next few minutes ensuring we were comfortable knowing the ins and outs of everything inside the flat. The flat was very clean, supplied with every item needed to live away from home. Viktor also allowed a late checkout since no one was checking in the next morning at NO COST. The neighborhood was safe and centrally located so we were able to almost walk Budapest the entire trip. I could not have been more pleased with the choice to rent his flat. I think staying in his rental was truly the highlight of our trip.

Hervorragend!

Ich war in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung für 14 Tage im März. Die Wohnung übertrifft noch die Beschreibung hier und hat meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen! In 5 Minuten ist man bei der U-Bahn und dann in weiteren 5 Minuten im Zentrum. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat wunderbar funktioniert - obwohl mein Flugzeug 2 Stunden verspätet war und ich erst um 22:30 angekommen bin... Alles in TOP gepflegtem Zustand - und die Geräte, das Wasserbett und die Multimediaausstattung sind einfach luxuriös! Wenn ich Probleme oder Fragen hatte, war der Vermieter jederzeit für mich da. Ich kann diese Unterkunft mit ruhigem Gewissen nur jedem weiterempfehlen - einfach grandios und besser als jedes Hotel.

Très accueillant

Le hall de l'immeuble peut paraître vétuste, voire délabré mais l'appartement est refait à neuf, très propre, et parfaitement meublé/équipé. L'ami hongrois du propriétaire est très accueillant même s'il ne parle qu'allemand ! ;-) Tout proche des transports en communs et des supermarchés. Une très bonne adresse à connaître pour visiter Budapest !

Alles war in Ordnung - gerne wieder!

Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit! Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt und auch der Empfang(Schokolade am Bett) war durch Frau Sofia (Schlüsselübergabe) sehr freundlich! Auch die Buchung über die Homepage des Vermieters hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, man möchte schon fast luxuriös sagen... besser als so manches Hotel in dem wir bisher waren. Man erreicht sehr schnell die Innenstadt und die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten! Besonders zu empfehlen ist auch der Besuch des sogenannten Oktogon Bisztro, wo man um ca € 5.- pro Person essen kann soviel man möchte (ungarische und internationale Küche). Auch die Nächte im Wasserbett waren sehr erholsam - meine Rückenschmerzen sind beinahe verschwunden. Ich würde und werde diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall meinen Freunden empfehlen und auch ich werde bestimmt wieder dort buchen.
