Enjoy a relaxing vacation in the country on this 15 acre property with wonderful scenic woods all around and an old order Amish village. Private and serene, this home will soothe and delight with an extra large modern kitchen with all amenities, hardwood floors and modern furnishings. If feeling more adventurous, there is Fall Creek Falls and Fiery Gizzard, both close enough for memorable day trips.

We have a variety of books and board games, great for playing in the living room or adjacent dining room. There is a hammock available and a two seater swing in the yard facing the views.
Unwind as you watch the Amish people go by in their horse and buggies from the front porch, or follow our shopping map to old order Amish homes nearby to stop and buy handmade soaps, pies and vegetables.

We enjoyed our stay. The house and land are beautiful. We visited the Amish farms and the Amish Four Corners food and deli store. The property is 20 minutes from everywhere which made it a great location for us. We would definitely stay again.
Our reason for a "reunion" was sad (a memorial service for a family member). We had family arriving from CA and FL and needed be close to McMinnville. Property is beautiful, house is spacious with plenty of places to gather and gab, front porch, back porch, yards (front and back). This was the perfect place for us. Clean and very well kept.
Excellent property within an Amish farming community. Enjoyed shopping at several Amish vendors for locally grown vegetables. Best local shopping-Country Market and Praters Bar-B-Que. During the week in addition to visiting with family in McMinnville and Manchester, we visited Cumberland Caverns, canoeing on the Collins River, swimming at Rock Island State Park and other local attractions. The only complaint is that the upstairs bedrooms were a bit dusty causing allergy symptoms. For more complete grocery requirements, be prepared to drive into McMinnville. Having grown up in the area, 65+ years ago, it was a pleasure to visit and reminisce.
Highly recommend the property for a larger group as it is a pleasant place to stay and roomy for our group of 7.
Perfect location for our group of interns to spend the summer. The location was great for commuting to Arnold and the house/property was well accommodated. Good communication with owners. Would definitely utilize this property again.
Everything was extremely nice. The house had lots of board games and movies to entertain. The only thing we left like we were missing was a toaster and very few pans. But we made it worked.
Pros:
Grassy quiet yard for kids to play.
Quiet farm roads to walk.
Owners were very kind and responded quickly when we had a problem.
Games in the cabinets for kids to play.
Big nice kitchen.
Large master bath.
Large master closet (We were able to set up a porta crib inside it for our toddler.)
Cons:
Over garage room had about 100 live stink bugs in it when we arrived. They were coming through the window unit air conditioner. The owner quickly brought over a vaccum and helped us clean them up.
Master bed was a little small for us...either a full or a queen. (There is a king size bed upstairs though.)
If you are planning to do day trips to various activities like we did it's a lot of driving on farm roads to get to the interstate...maybe 20 mins.

Thank you for your review! The master bedroom has a queen bed. We’re glad you enjoyed the spacious kitchen and master closet and bath. The stink bugs are a problem in TN in the month of October and they come in quickly and leave quickly as well. I am so sorry that they arrived when you were there. We have made a permanent vacuum available so that if anyone happens to be there in October when they are making their yearly appearance, they can be easily removed.
This property is breathtaking. As soon as you enter you feel like home. It is quiet, private, and serene. You can hear nothing but animals and see the occasional Amish carriage trotting by. It is very conveniently located, yet very private. The property manager is very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back and we can't wait for that.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and we would love to have you back anytime.
We loved our stay in the country! The property and house are beautiful! The hosts were wonderful. We loved visiting the Amish shops and eating an abundance of fresh produce! It was quiet and peaceful. There are roads and trails into the woods where our kids could explore, catch bugs and toads. We even caught fireflies in the evening. We would stay there again!
