Great villa with private pool and a refined decoration in the heart of Haut-Var, just 23 km from Lake Saint Croix. Bathing pleasures can also be found 80 km away on the beaches of the Côte d'Azur. The house is located on the edge of a charming village and only 5 km from the magnificent waterfalls of Sillas. It is located on a private property of 1,000 m² and has an independent living part with kitchenette (SZ 4, living room. with kitchenette and bathroom), which you can reach through the kitchen in the house.
The house is very comfortable, with its 3 beautiful bathrooms, its beautiful kitchen and its 5 bedrooms. Ideally located 500 meters from the stores, you will appreciate the relaxed pace of life in Salernes, a village with an important historical heritage. The narrow streets and quaint houses are dotted with fountains, and the pretty central square is home to cozy little shaded restaurants. Climb to the castle ruins to contemplate the picture offered by the round tiled roofs of the old village.
This beautiful vacation villa is perfect for nature lovers and offers excellent hiking destinations. Start with the spectacular Sillans Waterfall, 7 km away and easily accessible via a tree-lined path. Afterwards, treat yourself to a day of picnicking and swimming at the edge of the magnificent lake of Ste Croix, 10 km long, the northern part of which flows into the extraordinary gorges of the Verdon, up which you can canoe-kayak, for example. But other activities are also possible, such as sailing, windsurfing, catamaran, fishing, pedal boat.
Please note that the owner occupies a studio under the villa, but your privacy is maintained, as only the entrance to the accommodation is shared. Next to it starts a tourist route.

villa très confortable dans un endroit calme et arboré
Tout était parfait, sauf l'absence du système de nage à contre courant en panne et difficilement réparable en pleine saison. La présence des propriétaires, à coté de la la villa, ne constitue aucune gêne, bien au contraire, un plus pour régler les petits problèmes.

Chouette maison dans un beau cadre
Maison assez spacieuse, belle piscine (un peu trop froide). 3 salles de bain et 3 toilettes, pratique pour une dizaine de personnes!
Très bien équipée. Il manque cependant un transat autour de la piscine (9 pour 10 personnes).
A noter cependant la présence des propriétaires juste en dessous de la maison. Toujours bon de le savoir malgré qu'ils ne soient pas intrusifs.
Bref, une maison agréable dans un bel environnement!
