We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable space and guide you on the many things to do in the Poconos all year round. Our small team at HarmonySTR (Natalie, Shantie, Drew and Eric) are looking forward to providing you a 5 Star Stay.

Property was clean and spacious, except for the bathrooms being a bit small. The hot tub was equally clean and well maintained. We enjoyed looking out back at the deer, including an 8-point buck. Two minor things that would have been nice are a clock in the living room and brighter lighting for us visually challenged old folks, lol. We would stay here again and recommend it 100%.

Quiet getaway

My husband and I had a quiet getaway at the BearHouse. The hosts very communicative and shared a lot of information on the area. Their house guide was especially helpful! We were so appreciative of being able to get away for a quiet weekend.

Quiet and quick stay

We had a great time staying at the BearHouse! The kids enjoyed the arcade games, the foosball table and of course the hot tub! Seeing deers in the yard were awesome as well! We all enjoyed the community amenities.

Love the Bear Cabin!

My 3 teenage boys (and our dog) loved staying at Bear Cabin. The space was perfect for all of our needs. It was so nice to have a dryer for the towels after a days at the pool, lake, and water park! Really nice community. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was amazing and very cleaned! We really enjoyed our stay but unfortunately we had to check out a day earlier because our kids got sick nothing related to the property!

Fun for everyone!

The Bear House was the perfect spot for our family to land after a few days of skiing. There was something for everyone to do! Centrally located with restaurants and recreation all around. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay

Great location, and a beautiful stay. Amazing hiking trails within 10 minutes, and several great restaurants near Lake Harmony. Very impressed with the care put in by the hosts to make sure our stay was pleasant as well as recommending places and checking in sporadically. Overall a wonderful stay! Would very much recommend. My wife and I only stayed for a few days after a extending a 10 day trip to check out the leaves changing on our way home, but definitely will be bringing the family back to stay longer when visiting Big Boulder this year.

Good stay at Bear house!

House was just want we needed. The extras like the games were a huge plus with out kids. There are deer all over the place. Has all the essentials ( cleaning supplies, towels, linens) you need which mean less to pack big plus for me. The big fluffy blankets were AMAZING!! Would love to know where you got them. Would rent again. We have family in the area! Good stay for a very low key long weekend.

Fun Family Weekend Getaway

Property was as described in listing. Hosts were informative. We were pleasantly surprised by supplies left for our use, example dish detergent, paper towels, laundry detergent, soaps, linens and towels. Adults and teenagers enjoyed the arcade games and foosball table in the house. Also the hot tub was clean. We went to the community lake and rented a kayak and hung out on the beach. The community lake also has a pool and snack bar. We would rent the Bear House again on a future trip. Thank you!

Quick stay at Bear House

We had a quick visit to area- never been to this part of the Poconos before. The location of the Bear House is great, right in the middle of activities and dining spots. The house is cute, a mix of updates and retro bear cabin theme. Comfortable beds and furniture in the living room. Nice big screen TV and games to hang out at night. We came for a quick rafting trip and this was just right for the price. We didn't really use the hot tub or beach because it rained but having those amenities is a big reason why we picked the property. I'd consider changing the name though - we never saw bear, but were surrounded by deer every morning. My son even scratched one behind the ear.

Surprise Trip

Loved this house. Great set up and location. The only thing is the 3rs bedroom doesn't have an ac unit so it stayed hot even when the doors were left open. It was ok until the last night. But not enough inconvenience to drop the rating. Also wish they had cut the grass. But other than that we had an amazing time and would rent this house again!

All is Bright!

Our Stay was GREAT! Natalie/Eric are "Superhosts" they were committed in providing us a Great Stay and definitely succeeded. They walked us through the whole process and made us feel comfortable to reach out to them if we had any concerns. The area was quite and well maintained. The house was Clean, Bright and Spacious, there were also games for adults and children to enjoy which was awesome, it helped keep the little ones entertained. Natalie/ Eric, also recommended local areas where we can grab breakfast and a place to dine and enjoy the river view, which was a hit with the family. Everyone we came across was very friendly and welcoming. The community pool, game room and paddle boats were a hit with the grandkids. There are many activities nearby to enjoy, bike riding, kayaking, rafting to name a few. I highly recommend you reach out to Natalie/Eric and get started on your vacation. Anniversary

My wife and I chose this location to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we had an amazing time. The hot tub was relaxing and we enjoyed the numerous amount of games that were offered. The hosts are great at communicating and provided many recommendations that we hope to try out on a future visit. The area is very quiet and it was fun watching the deer walkthrough the backyard. I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.

We loved our stay at BearHouse. You can tell the owners care about comfort of their guests. The cabin was clean and inviting. The foosball table and Arcade table were so fun. The hot tub was fantastic. We highly recommend for any trip to the Poconos - great location and very responsive owners.

Perfect location-great for relaxing

My husband and I along with our four legged son came to the area to see the changing colors of the leaves. We loved the location. A few minutes from the highway, couple of miles from Jim Thorpe and close to restaurants and shopping. The house is in the woods. We saw deer and turkey from the front and back of the house. It was quiet too. The house is warm and cozy. We cooked dinners and we had all we needed to do our cooking. I would recommend staying and we will visit again. Thank you for sharing your home and allowing our four legged son. He enjoyed all the smells outside.
