About this property

Fully furnished, 2 bedroom/ 1 bath mobile home featuring 1 master bedroom with Queen size bed + 1 bedroom with bunk bed Twin over Full and another full size bed.
The property has an outdoor patio with fans, outdoor smart tv, full sized refrigerator, propane 4 burner BBQ and a separate triple burner propane gas cooktop provides you with the suitable tools needed to enjoy your meals and refreshments. (no cooking allowed inside the trailer only outdoor)

The Campgroup has a Laundry facilities and large remolded showers are available (for those want a little more space) for all guest in the pool area. Calusa resort is a gated community located in Key Largo. Guests are entitled to full access of the community pool. There is also a boat ramp for boat launch, a tennis court, basketball court, and kids playground. Ocean access, via boat. Shared resort wifi.

Guest must check in the office for the vehicle decal.

You are allowed to bring a boat or a jet ski no more than 19ft.That can be parked in our lot. The office requires that the boat or jet ski registration matches the name of the renter and a valid ID must be provided.

Cancelled hours before arrival

Our reservation was cancelled a few hours before we were scheduled to check in. We traveled from Sarasota to visit family staying in key largo for spring break. We were about 2 hours away when we received an email our reservation was cancelled and money was refunded. We should get the money in 15 days. This left us totally stranded as we were also towing it boat down. Luckily we found a spot to stay that had a marina. My vacation was slightly derailed by this bump but worked out on the end!

Nice place some communication problems

The camper was in a nice community, the beds were soft but didn’t hurt my back which i was very happy about. Somehow the first night we got lost and I had to call the owners. They were very kind and helped us find our way. The day of our trip I was surprised with a message from the owner saying we could not even flush toilet paper down the toilet. That was not in the description and not being made aware of that until the last minute felt deceitful. Then we had an issue with the hot water in the shower the knobs were backwards and we didn’t test it out well enough so we took cold showers for a day until I messaged the owner and they told me the plumber had switched the knobs. Overall, the place is nice. I feel the communication on the things above should have been better though. But that’s why I’m leaving the review bc I’m sure they'd like to right those wrongs for the next guy.

Convenient, comfortable location

This 5th wheel is comfortable, the campground it is in has a nice pool and hammocks that are amazing for sunset watching. We found it pleasantly quite in February, some loud music early on Friday and Saturday but it was all off before 10 pm. It is a camper, so as someone who is 6ft tall and sleeps on my belly with hands above my head there was only one bed I fit in. Other things I wish the listing had said: 1) it is a gated community (which makes it feel really safe) but you will have to register your vehicle (and I assume you boat but we did not bring one). Make sure you have the car registration. There is only one parking spot at the site, any extra cars are $10 a day and parked in the road median outside the gate. 2) when you register they will take a copy of your credit card, for a security deposit, they never changed me. 3) the provided wifi is really weak, if you want to stream tv or work you will need a hot spot.

Great location

The place was clean and comfortable! We went to relax by the pool and we got there and the pool was closed! Wish we would have known! Host was very nice to work with!
