Stylish house with space to meet, inspiration around the campfire, playground

Welcome to our Casa - Cara, house for friends! In a spirit of warm hospitality, we want to offer a space in which vacation for body and soul is possible, in a familiar family circle or with dear friends.

Our guest house has 8 double rooms, 3 kitchens and 3 bathrooms and a group room in the attic. The rooms are individually decorated and have received 3 stars from the German Tourism Association. There are double rooms and rooms with two single beds in the same distribution. In every kitchen there is an oven for cozy warmth, a cozy seating area and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Our St. Hilda (living unit) has a large terrace with dining table and garden sofa. Each kitchen has a bathroom and two or three bedrooms.
About the St. Hilda is an equally large unit that we St. Call Margret. There we exposed the original glue painting of the almost 100 year old house on some walls.
The above units can be reached via a common entrance and staircase. There is a piano in each of the two bedrooms, as we regularly house musicians who play in our concert barn. Festival musicians also come to us.

Our St. Bridget is accessible via a separate staircase and is furnished in the English style with sofas with a rose pattern. The kitchen has a French balcony and also a dishwasher.

Groups can meet, relax, chat and eat in our group room on the top floor. There is a long table, several sofas, a television and the WiFi connection. Children (and adults) can also paint there or play board games (are available).

On the top floor we have two simple attic rooms to the left and right of the group room. The left attic room has two single beds, the right attic room (our youth room) has a bunk bed and a large sofa bed.
The basement below the apartments can be reached both from the stairwell and at ground level from the garden. There you can easily park prams etc. The washing machine with clothes horse is also available for holiday guests. If the weather is bad and good, you can also play a game of darts there.

In our large garden (2500 m²) with plenty of seating and a fireplace, there is plenty of room for meeting and relaxing. Our covered terrace with gas grill and nearby campfire area makes you independent of wind and weather.

For the children we have a trampoline, a play hill with a sandpit, a Kettcar, a Scelter (Art Kettcar for larger children) with a trailer and for children and adults a sky swing to relax.
For the cold winter days there is a sauna in the annex and sledges for sledding.

We cordially invite culture enthusiasts to our concert barn. A dozen times a year, internationally renowned musicians enchant visitors with handmade music from the heart.
Our Buschenschänke opens every first Thursday of the month with Franconian cosiness and our own pilgrim brew.
Regular barn services in ecumenical space and fireside chats with exciting speakers are offers for people who appreciate inspiration and spiritual impulses during their vacation.
So we want to invite creativity and community in our house.
Since this year we have two e-mountain bikes that you can rent from us on request. It is a lot of fun to discover the Fichtelgebirge with the e-bike.

Location: Casa Cara is located in Gefrees on the western slope of the Fichtelgebirge, just 5 minutes' walk from the forest (Vier Burgental to Bad Berneck or towards Falls in the hiking paradise near Wirsberg) and only 3 minutes by car from the A 9.
In our beautiful surroundings there are natural bathing lakes, cycling, hiking and cross-country trails, thermal baths (Lohengrin Bayreuth, Siebenquell Weißenstadt and for thermal baths Obernsees), alpine ski lifts and cross-country ski runs as well as a large density of cultural offerings from theaters (Luisenburg Festival, Naturbühne Trebgast, Studiobühne Bayreuth, Theater Hof) and classical concerts (Richard Wagner Festival Bayreuth, Festival Mitte Europa) to top-class cabaret (St. Georgen Swings).


Rates:
A living unit with kitchen / bathroom / 2 double rooms costs 50 € for 1-2 people per night.
For each additional person we charge 25 € per person per night,
Children € 15 per night
Babies 0-1 years free.

Final cleaning € 20 per apartment
Dog: € 20
Use of the sauna: € 12 for up to 6 people (to be billed on site)
Bed linen and towels are included.
