We’re glad you found the home beautiful, relaxing, and well equipped for your stay. We’re sorry the washing machine gave you trouble, and we appreciate you letting us know so we can make sure that gets addressed. And yes… those stairs will definitely count as a little extra vacation workout! We’re so happy to hear that it didn’t keep you from wanting to come back. We’ll be looking forward to welcoming you again!

The house was good close enough to everything but still far away to be peaceful. You do have a house right next to the carport. It was a good time till the fireplace turned into a waterfall during rain and when we called they knew about it and asked us to use are personal towels to keep the floors dry and just put pots under it.

Thank you for having us, we really enjoyed our stay. We had a group of 10 of 3 generation family and we all enjoyed the clean home so spacious. It was close to everything store, bar, ice cream shop and the river. We built wonderful memories. The only issue we had for our elders was to many stairs so having a bathroom in the living area was great. Overall it was a great time for everyone.

Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was an amazing time filled with lots of laughs and great people! The house was great! It was beautiful, and spacious, and the perfect size for our group. The only thing we had an issue with was we kept running out of water. I’m sure it wasn’t the houses fault, but that was the only kind of bad thing about the house. I would stay at the house again in future trips, and I would also recommend family and friends to go stay there as well!

Very Nice

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pool was great and necessary in the heat we are having. The laundry room key didn't work but we got around it. There are a lot of stairs so be aware. There are really only 2 bedrooms upstairs, the third bedroom sleeps 10 with one bathroom. The nice was great everyone loved it. Wifi would have been nice I was okay without it. The overlook is really nice feature but the steps are steep. We would rent this place again for sure.

Called disgusting

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was kicked out in the middle of the day with my grandkids and children and was called disgusting and I cried cause yes there was no broom in cabin and our first night we celebrated. I understand my son had a party in the other cabin but we thought it was ok since he goes to parties out there every weekend. I took days off work and everyone there. Also the lady was upset cause I had more people than 10 adults and 6 children but this cabin was for 32 people. I cried like a baby in front of my children and grandkids when I’m supposed to be the strong one . The kids were scared and we left and now she’s charging me for cleaning when she kicked us out
Response from VrboOwner on 18 May 2023
When you booked the two houses on prom weekend, we went over the rules explaining that an adult over the age of 25 had to be staying in both homes at all times. You were informed that there were absolutely no parties allowed. We went over the rules again before and yet again upon arrival. We made it clear that both groups were always to be supervised. At 3:00 am when the sheriff was called out for a second time, we waited an hour and a half for an adult to get to the house with the party, only to find the house filled with minors drinking who were not even registered guests. It seems your son had decided to have a prom party and invited a good many of his high school friends. We allowed them to stay the night so they would not be driving under the influence, but let them know that they were required to vacate the property the next morning. The alternative would have been allowing the sheriff to haul them to jail for fighting, underage drinking, and more. When we inspected the house, there were broken beer bottles on the driveway and in the yard. Jungle Juice or some other red beverage had been spilled all over the floors and decks, and trash was everywhere. We told them then they needed to clean the house and leave. Instead of leaving they just moved the party to the other house. We made it clear that we would be inspecting the other home and would determine at that time if they would be allowed to stay. Upon arrival, I noticed many cars, a car parked on the new sod, beer bottles, trash water balloons, cigarette butts, etc. thrown about the yard and flower beds and a dog kennel on the porch. When I asked why there were so many cars, she replied we all drove our own cars. When I asked if they had a pet on the premises, she said no that there had been one, but it was gone, so I asked why the kennel was still there and she said oh they forgot it. When I told her I needed to inspect the home, she said OK I will tell you the truth there is a dog in the house.
