A very comfortable property! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Loved sitting by the fireplace, cooking in the kitchen and enjoying family time. The unit is a bit outdated (cabinetry, etc.) but it was clean and comfortable.
We all really enjoyed our stay. We thought it was in the perfect location. We will definitely be coming back in the future and will recommend the outpost to our friends and family.
We stayed here during out visit to Grand Teton and it was perfect! Very specious, away from the downtown craziness, and super close to the national park entrance. Worked great for our family of 5.
The good is the location and very clean. The only concerns were no salt, do away with the carpet and you can hear every step upstairs. But all in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The host was responsive to questions. The pever roperty itself was clean but a little dated and worn. The glasses and dinnerware was a mixture. It was a lilittle further from town than expected, However overall it was a comfortable stay
The property is only 7 minutes from Jackson Hole Airport which was very convenient. You will however hear the loud planes overhead, but the airport seemed to be quiet overnight. The house was well stocked and organized and plenty of fans were provided since there is no AC. I would love to stay here again!!
The area was pretty, quiet at night, and had lots of wildlife just down the street. We saw deer and a moose. The condo itself was spacious for a family of 5 and had most of the basics covered. The property is older and has some needs like very squeaky floors and a broken dishwasher rack. Overall it was a comfortable stay.
Enjoyed the beauty of the mountains while being on the EDGE of this community. There were a few minor items that were not perfect, like a broken chair and vent cover (I would recommend removing the broken items).
However, I would highly recommend this location and would definitely consider a repeat stay in the future.
Relaxed community condo with nearby access to Tetons, airport, and Jackson Hole
Very spacious and comfortable condo minutes from the airport on the edge of Teton national forest and 15 minutes to Jackson Hole. Condo was immaculately clean with very easy departure - finally a good reason to pay a cleaning fee! Another perk for anyone that might have kids, the community has a playground and large grassy area across from the entrance of the condo.
LOVED our stay here. The location is perfect for Grand Tetons…literally less than half a mile to a sign that says “Welcome to Grand Tetons National Park”. We enjoyed going to the multi-purpose paved biking path that is just down the road and offered spectacular views. The grocery store and Target is an easy drive away. My kids loved the loft upstairs. Kitchen has everything we needed. Overall a great stay and I can’t recommend this spot enough.
The location was breathtaking and very close to the airport which was convenient. It was in a beautiful area by a golf course and the Grand Teton National Park.
The condo is older but still nice. The king size bed was very comfortable but the queen bed and the 2 twin beds were not. The linens were all very nice and plush. Everything worked. The water pressure in the showers was good.
It was just older but we would stay here again.

Hi Corey,
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Teton Shadows Eagle D. We are certainly disappointed to learn of the cleanliness issue encountered during your vacation, as this does not meet the very high cleaning standards we pride ourselves on. While we will be addressing this specific oversight regarding the unsightly toilet with our respective team, we would have been more than happy to send a new cleaning crew back to rectify the issue, had we been made aware during your stay. We again apologize for the impact this had on your vacation, but do appreciate you making us aware so that we are able to continue to make future improvements.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the beds, although are disappointed to learn that you found the mattresses not to be up to your level of comfort. While we have found mattress comfort to be highly subjective for each reservation, and have not received this type of feedback here before, we want to ensure this information and your experience is taken appropriately. We will keep a close eye on any similar future reports, to pass along to the homeowner should it become a pattern.
We would very much love the opportunity to host you for a seamless stay should you ever return to the area in the future. We again truly appreciate your feedback and will be sure to further review and appropriately address the issues you have brought to our attention.
Best,
The Outpost Crew
Great stay for a quick snow trip. Not too far from town which made it easy to enjoy the city and mountains. We chose a rental over a cramped hotel room for a family of 4 and we would stay again. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to make our meals as well as eat out. Nice to have three full bathrooms. The loft is teen friendly as can access with wall ladder. One parking spot just outside the rental. Nice quiet complex. Fantastic support team/management company. Is a decently maintained older unit with recently renovated bathrooms and brand new washer/dryer. Main bedroom has memory foam mattress, rest are classic firm mattresses.

Great location but property is a bit dated
Property was in great location but description was a bit vague as to the loft. It requires use of a ladder built into wall which luckily one person in our party could actually climb the ladder to access and sleep in space. It says stairs access 2nd floor and loft.
Also there were mouse droppings
on the floor and counters in the house. The condo could use some updating but our family did have a great stay!
Also asked for early checkin which was not accommodated even though we know for fact there was nobody there 30 minutes before they finally gave us code to get into property (at 4:05 pm).

Hi Fred,
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Teton Shadows Eagle D. We are so glad to hear that your family had a great stay overall and enjoyed the location of the property.
We apologize for any confusion regarding accessing the loft. We do want to point out that the listing has photographs with captions showing the ladder leading to the loft. That said, we have since updated the description for additional transparency.
We are truly sorry that you found mouse droppings in the home. We have placed mouse traps in the unit that are checked during each inspection and we have also performed a deep clean at this property.
Our standard check-in time is 4:00 pm, and we have a thorough two-part process to ensure the unit is ready for guests. After our cleaning team finishes their work, our inspections team checks the unit to ensure everything is in order. Once this process is complete, the access code is activated for guests. We were not notified that your unit was ready early and we are disappointed to learn this was not the case when you arrived at 3:30 pm.
Please let us know if you ever return to the area. We would love the opportunity to host you for a seamless stay in the future.
All the best,
The Outpost Crew
We had a nice stay at Teton Shadows Eagle D. The space was very comfortable for five adults -- we didn't use the fourth bedroom in the attic/loft. The appliances were functioning well (it looked like they installed a new water heater recently) so we had no trouble with hot showers, as we had read in previous reviews. There is no AC, but we didn't need it with the nights in the 40s. The kitchen is a bit awkwardly shaped for multiple cooks, but manageable. We were surprised to find a propane grill on the back patio -- which was great! They didn't have a grill brush, but the property manager delivered one after we contacted them about it. Overall, property managers were very good with communication and response. The only drawback I have to note is the location. The house is less than 10 minutes away from the Jackson Hole airport... but directly under the takeoff pattern. Planes are not THAT frequent, but I'd bet that first flight each day woke us up between 7 and 8am. Last flight was probably before 10pm. Not a huge deal, but good to know about.
