A charming historic house in a peaceful village, with a wonderful view over the valley. Although space is limited, the rooms are thoughtfully laid out and equipped.

Very nice stay. The host was very hospitable. Small village was beautiful and Ajdovscina is 8 min away with car.

Host was incredibly gracious and offered many suggestions on day trip activities. House manual did likewise as well as offering a historical perspective on the property. The town itself is very intriguing… I would refer to it as a magical hillside hamlet… quite a find. The highlight of our stay was the accidental discovery of Rte 912 in the Sofca “Hills” beyond Lake Bled. After our disappointing visit to Lake Bled (way too crowded and way too touristy ) we headed past the lake and got pleasantly lost in the mountains. Alpine views and the Slovenia countryside was stunning. We became “travelers” not “tourists”. A profound experience to say the least

Perfect vacation

Nice apartment, very warm vwelcome from the host. All the local ammenities explained. Irena reserved our dinners in the nice local restaurants. All together very nice stay, and we will return for a more walks around Vipava valley.

Charming and cozy

This place is adorable. We felt like we were in the Snow White cottage. Irena gave us plenty of info beforehand so we knew what to look for with parking and directions. And when we looked slightly confused with our suitcases, a local escorted us to the front door where Irena was waiting. The town is adorable with friendly merchants and the woman who works at the monastery even gave us a private tour. Very cool. Would definitely love to spend more time in the area and wish we had more than one night. One note: if you have a hard time with stairs, they are steep and unique. Totally doable, but a little challenging in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub in der Villa Irena im zauberhaften Vipavski Kriz. Das Ferienhaus war für zwei Personen hervorragend ausgestattet und auch ausreichend groß. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Die Gastgeberin bietet ein tolles Frühstück (unbedingt probieren!) und gibt wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Weinverkostungen... Die Gegend ist für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen in Slowenien sehr gut geeignet (z.B. Soca Tal, Bleder See, Ljubljana, Postojna Höhlen und Burg Predjamska). Wir haben die Zeit in Slowenien bei Irena genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

ein komfortables Haus, stylisch, nix hat gefehlt

Tolles Ambiente in einem historischen Haus (das schönste in Vipavski Kriz!). Eingerichtet mit allem Komfort. Perfekte Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Sehr gut gelegen für Ausflüge zu den Höhlen, guter Ausgangspunkt zur Fadfahrten (aufgrund der Höhenunterschiede sind e-bikes sehr zu empfehlen). Sogar unsere Räder konnten wir gesichert abstellen.
