Charming house with comfort in a fantastic location right on the lake

Our lovingly renovated Stuga is located 4 km south of Arjäng, Värmland, directly on Lysedstjärnet. It is only a few meters to the water. From the large wooden deck you can enjoy the wonderful view over the lake and with a little luck you can even watch the beaver swimming.

There is a main building and an annex in typical Swedish style on the spacious property. Both houses have electricity and running hot water and are heated. The domicile can therefore be used from April to October.

In the main house are
• The well-equipped kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator (incl. Freezer), ALDI coffee capsule machine and seating for up to 4 people,
• the spacious living-dining area with a collection of board games, crime thriller library and swedish stove for cozy evenings (- we deliberately decided against a television ;-),
• the newly renovated bathroom with rain shower, toilet and underfloor heating,
• a bedroom with a double bed and a fantastic lake view,
• a bedroom with 2 single beds and
• the entrance room with daybed.

There is in the annex
• a large bathroom with shower and toilet and
• a kind of workshop / storage room with washing machine and dryer.

At the shallow child-friendly swimming area below the property there is a rowing boat with which you can row to the small rocky island in the lake. There are 2 children's life jackets on site.

Lysedstjärnet is known for its abundance of fish. As a resident of our house, you have the opportunity to fish here without a "fiskekort". But even up to the 50 km long Västra Silen there are only 500 m across nature. Fishing equipment or a canoe can be rented at the Sommarvik campsite, which is located directly on Västra Silen.

The property offers enough space for outdoor games such as badminton, football or Swedish chess. A homemade wooden horse with a real saddle and a swing over the water await the children. Depending on the season, you will find raspberries, blackberries and currants in the garden; In the surrounding forests there are blueberries and mushrooms. And occasionally the moose stops by and steals the apples that were actually intended for the "äppelpaj".

The day of arrival and departure is Friday or by arrangement. Unfortunately we cannot offer final cleaning. The house must therefore be cleaned by the tenants before departure.
