This holiday home is located in Gustavsfors in Bengtsfors municipality, right by the lake Lelången, 120 meters from the water.
There is a wonderful view and by the lake a bathing bay which is also perfect for canoeing and kayaking.
The holiday accommodation consists of a cottage with 50 sqm, living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and shower / toilet and an annex with two beds. In total, up to seven people can stay here.
2 bedrooms (1st with double bed, 2nd with bunk bed)+annex with sofa bed, living room with sofa bed
You can rent a speedboat (rubber) with a 15 hp outboard motor at a reasonable price on site. In summer, the boat is moored to a buoy in the water. A plastic rowing boat is included in the rental and is on a trailer on the property. When you use the boat, you can launch it down at the lake, depending on the application.
It is only a 1 hour drive to a fantastic water park in the eastern Oslo area; Askim badeland..
For those more interested in culture, it is about a 1:30 drive to Kråkstad train station (free parking), where it takes about 20 min. by train to Oslo S, 100 meters from the Norwegian Opera (the famous opera house) and the new Munch Museum on the harbor promenade in Oslo.. A little with teenagers as the 15-year-old would rather be here over the semester, I also think it is a good idea to market the cottage towards the Norwegian side of the border, because with all due respect to Dalsland and the Årjäng area (Vestra Värmland) it is quite boring as a tourist attraction, apart from the peace and quiet by the lakes and in the forest...
The area south of Dalsland; Håverud, is the only known attraction from Gustavsfors, but due to lower speed limits and worse roads, not much closer to the cottage than the previously mentioned water park in Askim, and 2 large shopping centers on the border (Swedish side) in Töcksfors, which are the absolute closest "attractions".
Next neighbor is 50 meters away from the accommodation.
