A perfect place for a family vacation!

The property provided excellent accommodation for all nine of us. The facilities meant we were able to care for all our needs. The bathrooms were well situated, with the small one on the main floor used by our senior members. The bedrooms were more than adequate, although the climb to the loft is pretty steep. After full days of touring we often congregated around the table just off the kitchen and shared our experiences. Temperatures were very warm, so the pool got good use, especially in the second half of our stay. Although unheated, the hot daily temperatures made it accessible and quite refreshing. It was as perfect an accommodation as we could have found. Also, the location is excellent. Travel into Paris is relatively easy, and the trains are quite comfortable. With good family support they also worked for a senior member with a walking disability. Travel elsewhere, in our 2 rental cars went well, as we were able to visit other outstanding sites in France - Giverney, Normandy, etc. Our only suggestion is that the owner consider providing a toaster for North American guests. French breads and pastries are wonderful, but “toast-on-the-run sometimes would have suited an occasion. I should mention the village of Bievres as well. A 10-15 minute shady walk brought us to the town centre where there were lots of restaurants and bakeries - a real slice of France. Some of our members even participated in the -day Strawberry Festival, and thoroughly enjoyed their time.
