Property was actually better than advertised and our group of 22 enjoyed their stay. Good central location to Fish Lake, Otter Creek, Monroe Mountain, and Capitol Reef NP. I would stay there again.
Loved the property it was exactly what we were looking for. The city is quiet and charming. Overall a perfect place to go and spend quality time and just relax.
My family of 20+ absolutely loved this vrbo. So much to do at the property, including friendly neighbors. So close to capitol reef Escalante, fish lake
Will be staying again!
This is a yearly vacation spot for our family. The grands love cornhole the wagon and the hammocks.
We love to take the boats out on the lake and fly fishing the nearby rivers.
We had a great time at this property. We love the rustic feel and the small town. Owners were quick to respond when we had an issue late at night. We would absolutely stay again.
The property was exactly as described and our family had a fun time relaxing and playing in and around Koosharem. The accommodations were clean and there was plenty of space for the whole family.
We loved the property and the kids loved the little extra's like the covered wagon, trailer, fire pit and darts. We visited Capitol Reef and Grand Staircase Escalante while there. The vacation was awesome.
The location was what we were looking for. It had plenty of space, yard games, open areas and room for everyone. The owners were great to work with and the places were clean, comfy and diverse :)
We needed a base camp in town for our young men's retreat and Koosh Cabin was perfect for us. After hiking and fishing all day, the boys really appreciated a comfortable place to relax, watch movies, grill steaks, roast s'mores, and real beds to sleep in. The cabins were very clean, and the managers were great. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!
Everything was great! Communication with the owner was great, she responded super quickly to anything we needed. The area was nice to all be together but still have some space. I would definitely recommend.
Overrall our stay was fantastic. Koosharem is centrally located to Fish Lake, Capitol Reef, and Antimony. The property is great for family gatherings and small groups with it buildings that offered privacy, but also gatherings/games. Natalie our host was great!
A neat place to hang with the extended family. Grandson enjoyed the bunkhouse and we split the cooking and dining between the cabin and rec house. Kids had fun playing in the wagon (a little cool at night for sleeping in November) and throwing horseshoes.
My whole huge family had room here. It was so much fun and there was so much to do. Everything was well stocked. We were all comfortable. A little sad that the teepee wasn't up, but the covered wagon was cool! Overall an amazing experience.
We stayed with a youth group (total 18 people) at the I rustic, but cozy location. I don't love the strange little town called Koosharem, but this place was a good fit for how large our group was and our budget restraints. If it was in the budget, I would have stayed in a cabin by the lake--but I would rather this place with a kitchen and beds than tents near the lake. We hiked Capitol Reef and fished Fish Lake. It was nice to cook some nights on the grill/fire and some nights in the kitchen. The outdoor bathrooms were surprisingly nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bunkhouse was quaint.
All sixteen of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Koosh Cabins. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor facilities great. We made a lot of s’mores over campfires. We played horseshoes. We lounged on the deck. We enjoyed family gossip in the two living rooms. We never had time for either games or movies. Here is a direct quote from one of us: “One of my top five perfect trips! People, food, weather, eclipse, Capital Reef…all top notch.”
Natalie, the host, was very responsive. We arrived after dark and were able to easily navigate the property. It was perfect to have various buildings and the camper to sleep in. I love that even the covered wagon had a queen bed in it! The outdoor space was great! We were happy with having little to no internet access, no arguments about unplugging. Neighborhood was quiet. I recommend this space for groups.
We had a great time at the cabins, they are adorable and clean. Everything was as the website said it would be and the communication was wonderful. We will for sure be staying here again.
Loved our time at Koosh cabins. It's a remote location that allows you to disconnect, near to some beautiful Utah sites within an hours drive. Had everything we needed on site, lots of places to sleep, clean, fun, perfect weather and great outdoor amenities. You'll love your stay. My family had such a great time. Thanks for hosting us. We definitely built some memories.
