Seaview Cottage Features: 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a bunk room with quadruple bunk beds (4 twin beds), 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, a great room (family room/kitchen/dining nook) and common room downstairs (1537 sq. ft. total). It has a car port with 2 parking spots and one additional parking spot on the street in front. The cottage features easy beach access via a backyard staircase and then a short 3 block walk.

Wonderful ocean views, a beautiful Oregon coast village with unique coastal activities - a perfect place to work from the beach, unwind, or just relax and watch the ocean.

Beautiful Stay at Oceanside

Our stay at Seaview Cottage was everything we hoped for - spotlessly clean, beautiful ocean view, easy access to the beach, and a well-designed and furnished kitchen. We are already looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Comfortable home, beautiful view

Oceanside is exceptionally clean with a well-furnished kitchen, responsive management and in a quiet area. It has an awesome view of the ocean from its hillside location.

Great house for a family

My family (parents, husband, daughter and 2 dogs) had a great stay. Close access to the beach, beautiful view, and very functional home. Although Oceanside itself doesn’t have a lot to do, you’re a short drive to nearby cities. The lighthouse was fantastic! Thank you for a great stay.

Pleasant and clean stay

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at the Seaview Cottage. It was clean, well appointed and cozy. It was hard to get comfortable on the couch with all 5 of us but we managed. Everything was well laid out and communicated well. Really enjoyed our time and the views here.

Clean, well stocked beautiful house.

A good rental space that was clean, new and well-stocked. It was made to be easily navigated and used. Had a fantastic time and a prime viewing location for fireworks when they are set off on the beach. Would recommend!

Seaview Cottage really does have a view of the sea

Beautiful house and location. The photos don't do it justice; the view was even better than we expected. Loved that it's walking distance to the beach. And the fenced yard for our dog was one of the reasons we chose the house. A couple of things that might make it even better would be a king bed and a bigger/softer couch. We're average size people and the couch was pretty narrow. Overall, it was a great stay!

Home Away from Home with Amazing Views!

What's not to love about this home? It is beautifully decorated and yet feels homey and inviting. Everything we needed was there for us. And the view! We spent most of our time relaxing in the house listening to the ocean and enjoying the view - especially at sunset. Janel was super responsive and gave us a bunch of great information about things to do in the area. We walked the beach every day and enjoyed yummy espresso shakes from the Oceanside Surf Shop. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Retreat House

This perfectly located cottage has an amazing view of the ocean. You can sit on the deck with your coffee in the morning and watch the waves. There is a fenced yard for pups, and stairs that lead from the yard to the road below for a short walk to the beach. I stayed with my husband and dog but it would have been a great house to share with another couple or family. A small detail I enjoyed was that the puzzles all had edge pieces separated in their own bag so you don't have to search for them. :-) Beds are comfy too! Very comfortable retreat.

Picture perfect!

The best thing about this property is that the pictures aren’t as nice as the property actually is! The main floor was perfect for my family vacation, 4 adults & 2 3 year-olds & 1 4 year-old because the kitchen is right where the action is & no one misses anything. The wall of windows looking out at the ocean is beautiful! The kitchen is more than fully stocked with new EVERYTHING. The bedrooms & baths are very nice. This house also can park 3 vehicles even though we only had 2. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful view, modern interior

We really enjoyed our stay - the view is unparalleled from the kitchen, deck and main floor living area. The layout is conducive to seeing the ocean whether you are cooking or relaxing, which was nice for the older members of our party. The unit was clean, modern and a short walk from the beach. Janel was very responsive and helpful. Our only wish was that the single wall unit AC were stronger; we happened to be there during the heat wave and it was over 85 inside, with the AC output barely cold. But I am pretty sure that was an anomalous weather situation for the coast. Overall we highly recommend.

The Best Beach Vacation House I Have Ever Stayed In! Dream Beach Home!

This was the most glorious beach house we have ever stayed in along the Oregon Coast. Floor to ceiling windows with a majestic view of the Pacific ocean. We were able to sit in living room and kitchen and let the sea breeze drift in when we opened the windows and sliding doors. The décor is nothing short of designer. All the kitchen equipment, bedding, towels, furniture and over all design was over the top plush! This treasure of a home is a place we will continue to visit. A three minute walk to the cute little downtown with adorable cafes and a four minute walk to the beach! If we could rate this a ten we would. Exquisite home filled with luxurious touches! This space is set up for a large family to enjoy comfortably too!

Fabulous new house with beautiful ocean view!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this beautiful beach house! The deck with the view was gorgeous and the kitchen is so nice and modern. It has everything you'd need to cook up a fabulous meal. I wish I had brought items to make dinner at "home" instead of going out each night! ;) The space was nice and roomy for just my husband and I, but having the extra bathroom and space downstairs is a nice plus! He was able to take a 2 hour conference call while I did my own thing upstairs. The walk down the stairs to the beach is a bit steep, but not far at all to get to the ocean. We tried to go to Agate Cafe one day for lunch, but they were unexpectedly closed, so we didn't end up going there during our stay. We'd love to stay again during the warmer months!

Seaview Cottage was the perfect get away with a quiet and private location, easy beach access, surrounded by upscale, comfortable rooms.

Seaview Cottage is such an amazing place to stay and the location is quiet and serene with a short walk to beach access. The house has such charm, from the brightly welcoming front door to the tasteful beach themed decor. Inside, everything is brand new, modern, and exceptionally clean. This place is incredible and wowed us with all the little touches and attention to detail like the stocked game shelf and the extensive guest book that provides great advice and information on the area. The rooms are all good sized and the beds and furniture are really comfortable. The kitchen has all the tools appliances we needed and the showers were like stepping into a spa. The upper deck is the perfect place to relax, and the main room upstairs has a wall of windows from which we see gorgeous sea views and Oceanside’s spectacular rocks. There are so many things to do that are a short walk or drive from this cottage like walks through the beach tunnel, hikes to the lighthouse, and searching the beach for rocks and agates. There was so many things we didn’t get time to do that we will certainly be back to Seaview Cottage to do them soon! Highly recommend staying here!!

Family time

The property was beautiful and clean. The views were amazing. The beds and linens were comfortable and the included amenities like coffee pods was a huge plus. The hill to climb back up to the cottage is no joke, especially with little kids and the stairs leading to the beach from the cottage are a little sketchy too. Overall had a lovely stay and look forward to coming back again.

Oceanside Seaview Retreat

Likely the best VRBO home we've stayed at. Impressively clean and communication with owner was outstanding. The walk down to the oceanside was easily managed. Those with gait difficulty may find the stairs a bit challenging and the walk back up difficult. However, the oceanside is easily accessible by car and close by. The views from the deck were spectacular and there was plenty of options for seating. The home had everything that you could want. There were only two of us; however, it could very easily accommodate families with children. The bunkroom would be a favorite spot for children with the adjoining family room. We had plans to visit both Seaside and Cannon Beach as well as Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. This home sits central to these areas and made for an easy 1.5hr drive either North or South.of Oceanside. This home made for an incredible first trip to the Oregon Coast. My thanks to the hosts.

Seaview Cottage is co-owned by two families who have owned a beach house on this lot for over 40 years. The old cabin was removed after a water leak and foundation issue and the new Seaview Cottage was completed in February 2021. Our families are excited to share this new cottage and a deep knowledge of the surrounding area, and activities, unique to Oceanside, Oregon.
