Discover Your Hide Away-Oceanside Oregon is located just 9 miles from Tillamook. It is the perfect laid back coastal community where you will enjoy all the local amenities for the perfect beach excursion. The best panoramic views from inside the house or enjoy a beverage on the deck while watching the beach activities, surfing, wind sailing, kiting, kayaking, and hang gliding. You won't want to hesitate to book your trip soon.
Guests please note we have a small set of stairs inside which gain access to the 2nd level. Please use caution and use the hand rail going up and down. All children must be supervised on the stairs, decks and hot tub areas. Please note if the hot tub is out of service due to maintenance issues the only adjustments on fees will be the $15.00 daily service fee. We make every attempt to keep the spa serviced and operational, but on occasion we have to close it due to repair turnaround. Please note checkout is at 11:00 AM. **2 ring outdoor cameras are located on the property for security. One aimed at passage garage door and one aimed at trail behind hot tub. We have a strict no pet policy, a $500. damage fee is placed up on any guest not adhering to this policy. Our family has Allergies to animals. We kindly ask if you have service dogs to rent another house.

This is a beautiful home! Very clean and well kept. It is well stocked with everything you might need. The hot tub was a huge hit with the family and the view is amazing. The host was extremely responsive. Would highly recommend staying here!

Anytime beach house

Property is close to beach and close to all the activities in Oceanside. The house itself is well arranged for indoor activities as well. We enjoyed a family holiday here without a hitch.

Wonderful stay in Edelweiss Chalet

The Edelweiss Chalet is a perfect place to stay to relax and unwind. The views from the deck are amazing. Great location to walk to nearby restaurants and the beach. It is also in range for Door Dash deliveries from Tillamook. My family thought this was the perfect place to experience Oregon.

Perfect coastal getaway

The house is so cozy and had everything you could think of and everything you might forget. Even better than described! It instantly felt like vacation from the wood burning stove and comfy furniture to the amazing beach views from almost every room and the best location close beach access and the village cafes. It was easily one of the best coast stays we’ve had in a long time.

We loved staying here! Gorgeous views and wonderful hospitality. The hot tub is well maintained and perfect for cooler days. Easy access to beach. So many details in the house- games, well-stocked, etc. Felt like home at the beach!

An Idyllic Stay

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The view was incredible from inside the house and out on the deck! We ate meals on the outdoor table and soaked in the beautiful scenery and the relaxing sound of the ocean waves. The house itself is lovely, cozy and very clean. We hope to be able to visit again someday.

Edelweiss at Oceanside

My family had a wonderful stay at the Edelweiss Beach Chalet in Oceanside. It's a wonderful house. Had everything we wanted for the weekend...ocean view, hot tub, easy beach access, clean and comfortable.One thing to note, if you have trouble navigating stairs, this house is not for you. LOTS of stairs to get up to the house, and to and from the hot tub.

Perfect Ocean Side Retreat

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas with our family at the Edelweiss Beach Chalet and had the most wonderful time. The ocean view is stunning and the house itself is very well-appointed and as cozy/comfortable as it gets. We had such a lovely time we discussed making it an annual holiday tradition. Would absolutely recommend!

This is my third time staying at this property and its never enough time. Michelle has everything you need to ensure guests are well taken care of. This place is everything you could ask for in an OR Coast beach getaway and more. I plan to make this an annual trip and am always grateful for my time here. Amazing Beach Views!

We had such an amazing stay at this house! Plenty of space for our group of four, which included my wife, 6 year old and 67 year old mother. Lots of steps to get up to the property but both my mom and little one managed just fine and the walk up is well worth the views! The house is incredible. Very clean with lots of accommodations. We especially loved the hot tub with ocean views. We would definitely love to stay again. 5 stars!!

Gorgeous

My son, 14, and I stayed here after a couple days of football showcase/ camps in Eugene. My only regret is not staying longer. The house itself is lovely. Absolutely perfect for us to relax and take in the views. The hot tub was great for his sore muscles. I enjoyed going for runs on the beach. Having a couple of restaurants and coffee shop less than a 5 minute walk was very nice. Definitely recommend!!!

Awesome experience!

Our first time vacationing in the area was made even better by this awesome house! Our kids enjoyed being upstairs with their own TV while my wife and I enjoyed the quiet downstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked, the hot tub was hot and the beds were very comfortable. Shellie was very responsive and accommodating. Overall, the house had everything we needsd and more to allow us to relax and enjoy this beautiful area. Thank you!

Wonderful relaxing stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Oregon. The house was just breathtaking, right on the beach, with such amazing views. The pictures listed online don't do this house justice. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with everything we might need, hot tub was clean, bathrooms clean, roomy, fireplace made it cozy. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at this property. Communication with the house host was excellent. All communication was clear, and didn't require any guessing. Thanks for hosting us, we really had a wonderful time!

I was fortunate to grow up in the nearby community of Tillamook. My grandfather came from Switzerland in the early 1900's and founded one of the dairy farms in the area. I spent many days lounging on the beaches of Oceanside while I was growing up. My dream was to come back and purchase a home at the beach to feel young again. You will be mesmerized by the beauty of this coastal town. I know the history and area very well and love to share information and my chalet with guests. The photo is me in Switzerland where Grandpa was born.

I chose this beautiful property because I believe Oceanside Oregon is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

What makes this property unique

I love the drive down Hwy 6 to the town of Oceanside along the Wilson River from Portland. Many waterfalls and scenic spots. We settle in unpack and the magic takes over. You pretty much forget the rest of your other world. I love to cook so we venture to the locale fish markets and purchase crab, clams, and fish and really have a feast. I love sitting on the deck watching the boats, whales, sea lions, surfers while soaking up some sun.
