Location:
Carnelian Bay is a small town in the middle of Kings Beach and Tahoe City, and central to activities around the Lake. The famous Gar Woods restaurant is located in the heart of Carnelian Bay and offers a beautiful view and public pier. Next door, Patton Beach has beach activity options. In the Winter months, cross country skiing is available within a short drive. Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, and more are less than a half hour drive.

Parking:
Parking is available in front of the home for 3 cars MAX. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 5 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Well-maintained property; great for a family. Only minor issue was the Nest thermostat didn’t work well — heat was off when we got there and kept turning off every few hours.

Wonderful cabin with lots of ammenities

We stayed at this adorable cabin over Christmas for 4 nights. The kitchen is very well-stocked with amenities, and the beds were super-comfy. The cabin has a gas-burning stove, so no need to worry about maintaining a fire in a fireplace. The cabin has a washer/dryer, and a great hot tub. Heather at the rental company was very helpful in assisting us with a few questions we had about the cabin, and Omar, who came by to help with a few minor issues (we didn't know where the switch was for the stove), was quick to come by to help. There is a Safeway just 5 miles from the cabin which is open 24 hours for all of your shopping needs. The cabin is tucked into a nice quiet neighborhood on a hill. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great time!

Such a cute chalet! Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the porch out back with the hot tub and grill. Comfy beds and great open concept to relax and enjoy hanging out with friends and family. Our only complaint is that in the listing it says you can walk to the beach. While it is true that the lake is very close, there is no public beach access within walking distance. It’s about a ten minute drive to the nearest public beach. Unless we missed something… Otherwise perfect!!

Great little house in a perfect location

From start to finish, the experience booking and staying at this rental was great! My point of contact, Bethany, was very responsive and helpful with all of the questions I had. This was a really well equipped rental. The kitchen may have honestly been one of the best equipped rental kitchens I’ve used. Paper products and extra blankets and towels were very well stocked and we really didn’t want for anything extra. The fireplace is such a cozy touch and the whole place felt very comfortable and homey. Most importantly during ski season, the hot tub was size-able enough for all 5 of us adults, and the heat in the house was strong and warmed us up quickly! I’d definitely stay here again.

Classic A Frame Feel with Modern Touches

This property is a charming Lake Tahoe stay. Very clean, with a good layout. A lot of the finish appears new and thoughtful, for example, great marble work in many places and a large pebble floor in the upstairs shower (you get a massage while you shower). Public access to the lake is about a block down the hill. The kitchen has all the tools you could wish for, but didn’t have any provisions beyond salt and pepper. Not a big deal, but if you’re going to cook, you’ll need to provision the basics. We loved this place and we will stay again.

Very well equipped kitchen and organized

This is the most well equipped and clean rental I have ever encountered in Tahoe. It is clear the owners take good care of the property. I really appreciated having adequate cookware, storage bowls, a nice set of kitchen knives, etc. There were plenty of towels. I would have appreciated an extra set of bed linens since the washer/dryer is so small. Also, we were only give 1.5 roles of toilet paper for the full week, which we ran out of at the end of our stay. Other than that, the cabin is wonderful! Very nice place to stay.
