About this property

Magical North Tahoe Getaway; three master bedrooms, wifi, new kitchen & hot-tub

Wonderful custom home in wooded Talmont Estates, near Tahoe City, where the drive up offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Three large Master Bedrooms. Two bedrooms have California King beds and full bathrooms and the other bedroom has a Queen and full bathroom. Additionally, there is a bunk bed and twin bed in 2 bedrooms . Each bedroom also has a TV. Two baths are new, with beautiful tiled showers and jetted Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has been fully remodeled, with a commercial Viking Gas Range, Frankie Sink / Faucet and Granite counter-tops and new refrigerator . We have also upgraded the downstairs with new hardwood floors and the staircase and upstairs with new carpeting. This house is nicely furnished and comes with all linens. There are two decks; one (in rear) has an awesome Hot Springs Hot Tub on it. The living room has a sleeper sofa, a new 55 inch LCD Television, and a Country wood stove with a glass door. We have a good cable TV package and high speed cable Internet with a wireless router. This house is very well equipped. Comes with seasoned firewood, Lion gas BBQ grill on rear deck, high end kitchen cook ware/dishes, a great supply of cooking spices and electrical fence wiring protecting all ground level doors and windows to keep bears away from the house while you are sleeping or away for the day. Also, comes with Private Beach access.

Paige Meadows Retreat: Talmont Estates is a great neighborhood for walking, biking or just hanging out. Very child-friendly and pet-friendly, too (off the beaten track, relatively low on vehicular traffic). Walking distance to Paige Meadows, a chain of alpine meadows which are a local favorite for hiking and cross country skiing.

Private Beach Rights: This property has beach rights at the Tahoe Park Beach, next to Sunnyside Resort. Includes a playground, swings, bar-b-que pits, horseshoes, volley ball and picnic tables.

Close to the lake and Resorts: Located within minutes to Sunnyside and Homewood Marinas, as well as Homewood Ski resort, Grandlibakken, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please bring all used towels to laundry machines and and start one load of towels in the washing machine if you don't mind.
Please place garbage/recyclables in the bear box at the end of the driveway with the bags tied closed. Bear box key opener is hanging on the right hand corner and Garbage pickup is Thursday morning.
Please turn the heat down to 55. Lock all windows and doors and make sure to turn on the electric Bear fence.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No pets are allowed on any beds or couches.

A big snowstorm hit two days before our arrival, and everything was perfect. No issues at all getting in or out. The home stayed comfortable the entire time, and the hot tub was spot on. We didn’t end up using the wood-burning stove, but it was a nice option to have. The kitchen was a dream and fully set up for everything we needed. The host was attentive and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Tahoe home with private beach access

Very well kept home with large updated kitchen and 4 full bathrooms! Loved having two huge ensuite bedrooms upstairs as well as the third large ensuite on the main level. Area was very nice and close to meadow to walk dogs or bike. Salt water jacuzzi was perfect to hang out at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and a well stocked kitchen. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops in Tahoe City. Pets are allowed, so everything we could ask for in a Tahoe winter retreat!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. No problems with check-in, clean upon arrival and great communication with our host. The house had everything we needed and the location was great! Just a ten minute walk from Paige Meadows and a 45 min drive to Sugarbowl. We would definitely stay here again.

We found this great cabin for our annual trip to Tahoe. The host was responsive and the cabin was easy to check in and out of. The cabin was clean and so beautiful! A full bathroom in every room too! We enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely book again in the future.

Wonderful Cabin!

This is an amazing cabin with lots of room! We loved the location with access to hiking trails in the neighborhood and a short drive to the private beach park. The highlights of the house were the lovely front deck, hot tub and grill out back, and the amazing kitchen. The beds were also really comfortable. It was a super relaxing stay, and we would definitely come back in the future!

This house is a 5 star place to stay. The kitchen is amazing; it’s equipped with everything you could need plus more. Three big bedrooms all with on suite bathrooms. Plus another full bathroom. Entire house was very clean. Lots of off street parking. Great location. Close to town and ski areas.The owner was very responsive to our questions. We cannot say enough good things about this house.

Christmas vacation

Comfortable, family and pet friendly house that worked well for us through the Christmas holiday. Beds and bathrooms were large and comfy, hot tub and fire place were great, large kitchen was nice for cooking meals. Nearby trails were a quick walk up the road - which worked nicely for walks with the dog. All in all, it was a great stay.
