DETAILS: Liberty by the Sea in Seagrove Beach has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 16. Guests will love the stunning Gulf views, generous porches, luxurious finishes, and how close the large community pool is to the home. The home is steps away from turquoise waters of the Gulf.

Entry to guest spaces is on the second floor. Guests may choose between a primary bedroom, two guest bedrooms, or a bunk area. The primary bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. A guest bedroom has a king bed, private access to a large porch with Gulf views, and a bathroom with shower. A third guest bedroom has a queen-over-queen bunk bed and private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. A large, open bunk area opens onto a porch with Gulf views and has 3 twin-over-twin bunk beds, a foosball table, and access to a laundry room.

The kitchen and main living spaces are on the third floor to take full advantage of the spectacular Gulf views. Guests can see the Gulf from both the living room and the renovated kitchen, where premium appliances and a dine-in counter with seating for 3 provide ample space for meal prep. An expansive living area feels even more prominent thanks to a vaulted ceiling finished in natural wood. Glass doors from the living room open onto a porch with an outdoor dining table with seating for 6 and a premium gas grill. Inside, a round dining table with seating for 8 is located opposite the kitchen and leads to a guest bedroom with a king bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

On the first floor, enjoy an enclosed space protected from the weather featuring a foosball table, ping pong table, and dining table.

The location was very close to the beach access and the views of the gulf were nice. The home could use some well needed updates. There are a lot of stairs to get to the main living areas on the third floor. The layout of the bedrooms on the second floor was strange for larger groups of families. There was only one fridge for the entire house which made it inconvenient for larger groups. The washer/dryer should be updated as the washer did not clean very well. Overall, we prefer Rosemary/Seacrest area over Seagrove/Seaside. Walkability to restaurants and shops was difficult in this location. You need to drive to get groceries and basic supplies. The restaurants are also better in Rosemary.

Location is great and the view was excellent. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of it at check in. Also, only one of the televisions in the bedrooms was functional. I had to hook up my laptop to it to get it to work at all. With the money spent, our expectations were higher for both the cleanliness upon and for the quality and functionality of the televisions in the bedroom.

October 2021 Stay

We stayed at Liberty by the Sea for 3 nights mid October for a girl's trip. Weather was fabulous and we had so much fun. Beach access could not be any closer- huge win. A few things that definitely need some attention and future guests should know: the bunk room has no blinds or curtains and is extremely bright in the morning, especially since it faces the east. More importantly, if there are guests in the house next door, they can see everything due to the lack of curtains/blinds. We were lucky that the house was vacant, but something needs to be done there. Overall, a great stay.

September 2021 Stay

This is a nice house. It’s in a very congested neighborhood; we were startled to find people on the porch in the next house 10 feet away. The propane tank is in bad shape and hopefully someone replaces it before there is a problem. The shower doors need to be replaced. Those are the problems. Otherwise, we enjoyed the house. There are lots of bunks for kids and it is a pleasant place to stay.
