Kauai’s Most Breathtaking Views at Hanalei Bay Resort

Welcome to your Kauai paradise. Unit 9202 is located in the renowned Bamboo building which features the most stunning views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai.

This large fully air conditioned 900 square foot, one bedroom condo has just been updated with new paint, art, appliances, kitchenware, and furnishings. The living room features a comfortable sectional with queen sleeper, and large flat screen TV. The dining area seats eight comfortably. The kitchen has a concealed washer and dryer as well as all of the appliances and supplies needed for any gourmet dinner. The master bedroom features a comfortable king size bed under a Koa wood ceiling fan and glass sliders to let the sea breezes begin and end your day. The master bathroom features new granite countertop and fixtures and a tub/shower combination. (new pictures coming)

Imagine yourself on the lanai with your morning coffee or an evening cocktail overlooking the turquoise bay after spending the day at our nearby beach with our full compliment of beach toys including beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and coolers.

The Hanalei Bay Resort is a tropical paradise with eight hard surface and clay tennis courts, Kauai’s only swim up bar in a lagoon style pool, and a restaurant serving cocktails and dinner seven days a week. Concierge service, optional valet parking, golf cart transport around the resort and to the beach, tennis and pool amenities, and wi-fi are all included in the reasonable resort fees, see below. These fees are not included in this booking, they are to be paid directly to the resort upon check in.

Note that this unit may be combined with unit 9201 and 9203 to make a 1300 square foot two bedroom or 1750 square foot three bedroom oasis for up to eight guests. Please see VRBO listings 2374272 and 2375624 or 3 bedroom 2375687 for rates and availability.

We had such a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the ocean and lush scenery each morning was unforgettable. The condo had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to beach gear, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained, adding to the relaxing island vibe. While a few things inside could use some updating, it didn’t take away from the comfort or the experience. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, and we’d happily book it again.

We loved our stay here! The view is amazing and the lanai is a perfect place to have coffee & breakfast. The condo and kitchen are well stocked which made our stay a breeze. It’s also nice to have the resort amenities at hand.

Amazing Location!

We felt so lucky finding this place. It has a beautiful view of Hanalei Bay that is amazing to wake up to. The north shore in general is wonderful, best part of the island and we had such easy access to it all. The supplied chairs, umbrellas, and cooler made it easy for us to beach hop. We would happily come back!

Amazing property

The unit is incredibly nice and has the best view on the entire island. 10/10 would recommend. The room is nice, the hotel/grounds are beautiful, and the view is unbeatable. Stop searching and book this unit

Epic View

This condo has the most amazing view. The pull out couch is comfy and we had plenty of room. The decor is super cute. When we arrived we could hear a beep from a neighboring fire alarm, but it was taking care of in a timely manner. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stunning view

The views from the balcony of this beautiful condo were absolutely stunning and it was wonderful to be able to walk to the beach. Although the condo is a distance from the parking lot, the resort quickly responded to any request for golf cart transportation.

Wonderful Condo with a perfect view!

My Wife and I decided to stay here for our 10 year anniversary based on the good reviews and as soon as we walked through the doors we were blown away by the beautiful view! Some of our greatest memories from our trip were just sitting on the lanai eating breakfast, reading books, or just watching the surfers. We had great interactions with the all of the resort staff. This is really a fantastic place to stay and if we are lucky enough to come back to Kauai we hope to book this condo again!

Incredible view with many extras!

Incredible view with many extras! This place has views from the balconies that are breathtaking! It is super clean and is supplied with all of the little extras that really make a difference. There is a gift basket with a lot of Hawaiian snacks and coffee that we really appreciated! The storage closet with beach chairs and umbrellas and coolers really came in handy when we wanted to go down to Hanalei Bay. If we ever get a chance to come back we would book this place again in a heartbeat! My husband kept thanking me for finding this condo. :-)

It's All About The View - But WAIT! There's More!!

Aloha! My wife and I just spent 5 weeks on Kauai staying at locations all over the island, and I can tell you that you will not find a better location or better condo than Laurie's at HBR. I have stayed at other condos in HBR, and while they were all very nice, none compared to the uniqeness of this condo. The view is not only unobstructed, it is unspoiled. All you see is Pu'u Poa Beach, Hanalei Bay, and beautiful Mt. Makana (Bali Hai). It is simply an unbeatable view. The condo itself is very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable, not too firm and not too soft. Oh, and the view from the bed? Already described it! It's unbeatable. HBR has a nice pool area, it is an easy walk down to the beach and the condo has beach chairs and other items to make your stay enjoyable. Mahalo Laurie for sharing your little piece of paradise! The photos don't do the view justice - AMAZING!

No units look into your unit (or you theirs)–only see people on lanais. Ate at home most nights, kitchen has everything needed, cooked or used grills at small pool. Grateful for blender (breakfast shakes & cocktails), potato masher and my fave frying pans (can use to bake a cake). Unit itself is dated in many aspects, but completely serviceable. Except maybe the shower head which is crazy pain in the butt-hope they change soon. Bed is comfy. AC works great if you even need it. Maybe not a luxury unit but definitely a luxury view!! There for a full month & loved every second. Why go out for mediocre food/cocktails when you have this view! Parking can be tricky-not enough spaces for # of guests. However, if full, valet will park you. Completely fine leaving golf clubs in car overnight, we had blanket to cover from view. Also a trek from parking lot to unit-used comp golf cart service at checkin/out & lugging groceries. Used golf cart when taking stuff to beach (unit has chairs, boards, noodles, snorkel gear, soft coolers). Tried lots of beaches & found the one below & Anini best for easy access & snorkeling. Even being on far north side, we easily did everything all the way around. 1.5 hr drive to Poipu once/wk for golf, but lush green Kauai made drive nicer than similar drive on, say, Maui. Every other day we drove to Kapaa or Lihue for golf. Great Farmers markets for fruits/veggies! Lots of rain AND sunshine = rainbows & waterfalls. Is all just SPECTACULAR from this lanai!

Beautiful Condo & Billion Dollar Views

The condo and view from the patio are both beautiful! We watched sunset from the patio every single night for a week and a half. We stayed in the main (middle) unit. We had people on both sides of us. We could hear people slightly but no different than a hotel with people around you. The building is further away from everything which is quiet and peaceful. We cut through the tennis courts to make the walk a little shorter, but you can call a golf cart to your unit if you don't want to walk. The only issues we ran into were not deal breakers but just something to note for others to be aware of: The Checkin and Checkout time listed on the VRBO listing is different than the resort times. We had an issue getting into the unit and leaving the unit. The resort was rude to us at Checkin and would not let us into the unit. I showed them proof of the listing Checkin time on the VRBO app and they finally let us in. The same thing happened at Checkout. I went up to the front desk the night before and got it cleared up for us. The day of Checkout the cleaning crew showed up 1.5 hours early and was very rude. The woman in charge tried threatening me that she was going to call the owners. I told her to go right ahead bc I cleared it with the front desk and the Checkout time is in writing on the VRBO app. Again these were not deal breakers for us, but they were rather bothersome to deal with. I would recommend this unit or this building of units for your vacation. The view is breathtaking!

Hanalei Bay Resort is a wonderful, family friendly place. The grounds, pool and staff are great. This unit is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked well with cookware and utensils. The bed is very comfortable. And, as advertised, it truly has a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay.

Wonderful, wonderful views

This condo was a wonderful spot to enjoy Kauai. It is located in the Hanalei Bay Resort, at the very edge of the property. There are amazing views of a wonderfully, wave active cove from both the bedroom and living room. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and wave/surfer watching. Also the mountains were beautiful, with ever changing light and clouds. The beach is nearby, as well the Neighbors cafe at the next door 1 Hotel for breakfasts overlooking the Bay. We also enjoyed the proximity to nice hiking trails. On the first day, we had trouble parking as we arrived later in the evening and found out afterwards that valet parking was available for guests. We also had a little trouble figuring out how to turn on/off the air conditioning-- which was a little noisy. Overall, an ideal location and amazing views-- very relaxing and enjoyable.

Best View of Hanalei Bay

By far, the best part of this condo was the view! It was amazing to see Hanalei Bay with a backdrop of the mountains. We were lucky enough to be there during a full moon, and it was absolutely breathtaking over the water. Small dissatisfiers were the lack of towels & their quality, and somewhat outdated kitchen. Also, we were "lucky" to have our building being roofed the week we stayed. Ugh. However, Laurie was great to communicate with & made sure we quickly received additional towels. I definitely would not exclude this place as a great Hanalei Bay condo!

Honeymoon

Spent 11 nights on our honeymoon. It was the perfect spot to take in the beautiful North Shore. We would definitely recommend for a honeymoon or a family vacation. Resort is calm and beautiful.

Clean condo with great view

Clean condo with same view of the sunset as 1 Hotel— probably the best in the condo complex. Good restaurant on site with great vibe. One thing we didn’t know that could help other folks— Recommend bringing small bills for tips as there is no ATM in the resort and the golf cart guys work for tips. Nice beach on site with golf cart access up.

Spectacular!

We were immediately wowed from the minute we walked into this property, the views are just incredible! It was very clean, had everything we needed for the kitchen and laundry and included beach equipment as well. Sitting on the Lanai and taking in the beauty as well as the bird sounds were the favorite parts of our stay but we also loved the amazing pool area, and Happy Talk restaurant, and had no issues with the walk although the cart transportation was always available and very easy to secure. We found everything true to the listing. This was a special place and we will be back someday!

Hawaiian beauty

Views from balcony are 10 plus. Bonus was the ability to also utilize the 1 hotel amenities in order to have variety in our activities. It was a great area to enjoy long walks and explore the area. The pools were often crowded and finding a chair around the pool could be difficult. The condo was comfortable, but could use a refresh. This is especially true in bathroom. Over all, even with need for refresh I give it a 9!

Excellent location with breathtaking views

Highly recommend! Great location for exploring the north shore with a nice pool and a semi-private beach. The unit itself was in excellent condition with ample AC and gorgeous views.

It's all about THE VIEW!

We had a fantastic stay in this unit last week! The view is amazing! There is no better view of Hanalei Bay. We spent every morning out on the lanai drinking coffee and planning our day. We love the easy walk down to Puu Poa Beach and 10 minute walk to the path that leads down to Hideaways Beach. The unit was clean and comfortable - I would definitely rent it again.

Views From the Lanai Were Spectacular!

We were excited to visit Princeville and we figured the condo would be nice, but we were wowed when we walked in and saw the sweeping view of the mountains and ocean from the unit’s wide lanai. We would have been fine just sitting out on the lanai to watch the surfers and the sunsets, but we also enjoyed the resort’s grounds as well as the proximity to the Kalalau Trail in the Napali Coast Wilness Park, just a few miles away. As an added bonus, the condo was well-stocked and comfortable and the property owner was very easy to communicate with. We plan to come back as soon as we can!

I was 18 years old when first traveled to Kauai. My sister and I
hiked the Na Pali Coastline trail. I fell in love with Kauai and
hoped that everyone I cared about could come here someday and
experience the love, the beauty and the magic of Kauai. Many
decades later, my husband Steve and I returned here after
raising our kids. That was December 2020. Covid Time. We
stayed in this very condo and both of us felt drawn to this island
in a way that words can’t describe. We have traveled all over the
world, 30 + countries and stayed in hundreds of different
accommodations in our travels. Of all the places we traveled in
the world, Kauai is hands down our favorite place.
Of all the Hawaiian Islands, this garden island is by far our
favorite. When we decided, we were going to buy here, we looked
all over the island and viewed many different condos. We kept
coming back to this lovely condo. This is our favorite part of the
island because of the mountains and stunning beaches. We felt
that we got the best condo in the complex with the best
unobstructed views in Hanalei Bay Resort. . Today, we are beyond
happy to share our little piece of paradise with you. Kauai might
just be the most romantic place on Earth. Everywhere you look is
beautiful! Stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, amazing waves,
beautiful flowers, and unforgettable sunsets. Kauai is steeped in
history and culture. Of course, there is no shortage of things to do
and see. We hope that you find the same magic, love and beauty
that touched our souls and lingers in the air no matter where you
are at in Kauai.
