Other than the factors mentioned, was there other points that can be improved upon? We didn’t hear from you during your stay so just wanted to check! This is an older beach home, however, we do provide a clean and sanitized vacation property with views for days that provides the perfect backdrop for a fun family getaway! Christine, we appreciate you staying with us at our waterfront NMB channel home that many families have enjoyed year after year. Your reservation contract stated you had one guest for a four bedroom, two bath home, which apparently was false. It was very obvious from the beginning that our cozy, well-loved, traditional channel-front home was not the best fit for your expectations. We pride ourselves in providing a welcoming, clean vacation home and that’s what was offered here, despite this review. Thanks again for staying and good luck in your future VRBO stays.

Amanda, First of all, thanks for being our guest. We heard from you on the day of check in but never one time after about any of your concerns, so this review is both surprising and disappointing. Communication between a VRBO guest and host is key! Our vacation home in no way, shape, or form EVER deserves a 1 star review. In fact, the guest that checked out on the day you checked in gave this property a five star review! Many wonderful families have enjoyed our large waterfront channel home through the years and it has provided as a backdrop to their North Myrtle Beach, SC memories. Any of your concerns, we would have been happy to fix, but instead you left it all for the review. Very disappointing and not fair. This home has been well loved by the owners’ family and many visitors that have given many high ratings via multiple booking channels. Thanks again for visiting and we hope you enjoyed your visit to North Myrtle Beach.

Thanks for being our guest and we are glad you enjoyed your stay! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms are included in the listing you viewed prior to booking. The house was cleaned prior to your arrival and the utensils you found have been addressed. We pride ourselves in five star cleaning practices and that is not acceptable. Regarding the coffee maker and toaster, we will definitely check those out, however, neither was mentioned to us when we spoke to you multiple times during your stay. If mentioned, we would have been happy to replace them personally. As a premier VRBO host and AIRBNB super host, we pride ourselves in five star reviews, so this review is disappointing. Many wonderful families have been enjoying this beautiful waterfront vacation home all Summer. This is an older but well-loved family beach home so maybe it was not what you were expecting.
