About this property
Cute Waterfront House on Lake Superior
Stunning views are yours from this cute house located right on Lake Superior. 2 bedrooms with 1 full bathroom with a bathtub and one-half bath off the master bedroom provide comfort and convenience; with all rooms having a view of the lake. The best room of the house is the windowed and screened-in porch facing the water offering a relaxing spot for watching the sunrise, playing cards, games or simply enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
A comfortable queen-size bed is in the master bedroom and a full-size bed is in the second bedroom; both have ample closet space. A large separate garage offers a sheltered place to park as well as containing the toys available such as two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), two adult bikes, and a child's bike. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything one might need such as pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, crockpot, etc. A full-size washer and dryer are ready for use.
Another fantastic feature of the house location is its proximity to Mink Farm Park and Beach being only 3 doors down or about 300 feet. Big Traverse Bay is known for its great expanse and soft sand providing lots of opportunities to play in the sand or water, or take a stroll down the beach. As if a beach weren't enough, the park provides a playset to amuse the children as well.
There is much open space presenting opportunities for blueberry picking in the late summer or fall and wildlife viewing; sandhill cranes, bald eagles, deer, turkeys, ducks and geese are regularly seen.

Great location; out of the way but also close to a lot of great spots like Calumet and Houghton. Place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Great proximity to the water and local park.
Excellent location right on lake Superior, quiet road, short walk to a nice beach. House was very clean and had pretty much everything you could ask for in the kitchen. WIFI is appreciated due to the very limited phone reception in the region. Great accommodations all around.
We only stayed one night here, but it was exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed ourselves. House is exactly as described, easy access to everything. We had a great stay.
It was so nice to come back and spend time in our old neighborhood and reconnect with friends. Sitting on the porch staring at the Big Lake was as awesome as ever. House was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The house was just perfect with an amazing view! The porch facing the lake was great for drinking coffee and watching the water. Check in was super easy and the place was very clean. I would highly recommend!!
The house was perfect! It was the perfect home base for exploring the Keweenaw each day and the perfect place to relax each evening. The sun room is amazing and waking up in bed each day to see the sunrise over the lake was lovely. The lake was calm most our time there but still lovely to listen to each day. I have no complaints or suggestions bc it’s already the best.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. The view of the lake was amazing. The house was clean and had all the conveniences we needed for our stay. Thank you for the welcome basket.
This was my 3rd time staying here and each time has been great. View and location is great, place is always clean and has all essential amenities. I look forward to another stay here. Only improvement to be made is replace a couple of windows that have fog. Best part of the rental is the sun room.

It is rewarding to have you and other renters return year after year showing that a great experience can be had for a reasonable price. Not originally being from the Keweenaw, I'm glad others choose to come and enjoy this area!
