Great place. Great location. Lots of room to spread out. Off street parking. Property Owner was excellent at communication pre and during stay as needed.
Great place to stay if you're in town! Easy check in process, great communication with the owner if there were any questions, and overall a fantastic place. Within walking distance to the train station and downtown made it extremely convenient. I would definitely stay here again
Love the West End Neighborhood & its colorful array of "residents." Urban Flat's location is very convenient - walking convienent- to RR Square, Criminal Baking & Aroma Roasters. All excellent destinations. The flat itself is roomy, nicely appointed and very comfy. Allen made himself available for any needs & questions and we met, by chance, Ronnie the housekeeper who does a great job. We highly recommend Urban Flat.
We visited Santa Rosa to explore different wineries in the area. The house was great. The location is quiet, yet close to many restaurants and bars. Location is also convenient for jumping on the highway to drive to vineyards. Being within walking distance to Russian River taproom/restaurant was a huge plus!
I stayed with my spouse and another couple and we very much enjoyed the house. The two bedrooms are connected by a curtain, which was not an issue for us. Excellent location for walking to restaurants, shopping, and the train!
We had three people stay for a weekend in Santa Rosa. The beds were comfy, the house clean, and the shower fantastic.
Just a couple of blocks from downtown made walking to breakfast and coffee each morning a breeze.
Allen was easy to communicate with and left a bottle of wine which was a nice touch.
Please note: As someone else said, it’s a 1930s house so outlets aren’t always easy access. An Extension cord or two will help greatly. Not a big deal, it’s the charm of VRBO and older houses, just a good FYI.
Allen's place was the best vacation rental my friend and I have ever experienced. The home was inviting, well laid out, and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Believe me, Allen thought of everything down to the finest detail. He was very responsive and communications were easy. There was one minor hiccup, which I mention only to say how very pleased we were that he took care of the issue immediately and without fuss. We will definitely return!
We liked the West-End location. It was easy walking distance to Railroad Square and downtown. Allen was very responsive and helpful. It was an extremely hot weekend, and he had two portable ac units setup which were very effective at keeping us cool. We would book this rental again!
This is a charming property with loads of character in a great location. There was plenty of space (both bedrooms include their own living room, there is not another, separate living room), property was well-stocked and included beverages, which was a welcome touch. Allen was very communicative and the courtyard was lovely. All in all, a great stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the Urban Flat. It is very clean and comfortable and full of interesting antiques. The kitchen and the bathroom were well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet but there are interesting shops and eating spots within walking distance. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Allen our host was gracious and answered them promptly. Thumbs up on all fronts for this property! Diane
The flat is absolutely darling, clean and has so many fun original details. We were in the perfect location to walk to restaurants, bars and breweries. The outside terrace was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and afternoon card games. We traveled with another couple and the two bedrooms are very private. Each bedroom has its own attached sitting room providing plenty of space for the 4 of us. Allen was a wonderful host! We were welcomed to the flat with a nice handwritten note, bottle of wine, beer and water in the fridge. Communication was fantastic throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Charming house with the cutest old fashioned kitchen! We stayed here as a home base to visit family around Sonoma County and had a great time. Each bedroom had it's own air conditioner, so we were all very comfortable. My husband heard the trains once during our stay, but it wasn't intrusive.
