The house itself was fine, though I think (having travelled in the area before) that you can get better value for money. The major issue, that really soured my experience, was the lack of internet. When we arrived for our ten night trip, we discovered we could not connect our devices to the Wifi. We contacted the host the next day, who came around to check it out, and said he would get back to us later. When he did get back to us he told us there was an ongoing issue and things were not going to be fixed before our departure (at the end of the following (!) week). Considering this is a rural property the lack of internet had a massive impact on our enjoyment of our trip.

Bonjour, Merci d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre expérience. Nous regrettons sincèrement le problème de connexion Internet rencontré durant votre séjour. Celui-ci était dû à une coupure de la fibre optique au niveau de la route, indépendante de notre volonté. Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas maîtriser les délais d'intervention du fournisseur d'accès. La fibre a depuis été rétablie et le service fonctionne de nouveau normalement. Nous sommes néanmoins surpris par votre note de 2 étoiles sur 5, alors que le reste de votre séjour s'est, selon vos propres remarques, bien déroulé. Notre gîte offre une piscine, un environnement calme à la campagne tout en étant proche des commerces, et nous nous efforçons de proposer un hébergement de qualité à chacun de nos voyageurs. Enfin, il est regrettable qu le logement a été laissé dans un état nécessitant un nettoyage exceptionnel. Des traces d'urine imputables aux chiens présents durant le séjour ont été constatées sur les murs, les tapis et le mobilier. Cette situation a nécessité une intervention supplémentaire, justifiée par des photos et une facture transmises à Abritel/Vrbo." Nous vous souhaitons malgré tout une bonne continuation.
