I booked connection room with two beds but they just checked in one room, when I called service the hotel crew hang up my phone, and I went to counter that take me a lot of time to communicate with their manager and change the room for us.
Great location and room but the Horseshoe checkin personnel rude
Wonderful stay in the two rooms that connect. Great to have our kids in the next room with their own bath. The larger of the two rooms isn’t what I’d call a suite, but it was a large room with comfy bed, desk, and partial view of the Bellagio fountains. Our main concern is the Horseshoe check in staff. This hotel shares 1st floor access witthe Paris Resort, which I didn’t know. When asking the check in person whether I needed to know my tower (there were signs for the Versailles Tower, the Bordeaux Tower and the Resort Tower), she scolded me and said I should know this. I mentioned that it didn’t say which tower on my VRBO booking. Again, she scolded me, saying “go to the line for your booking”. I finally asked someone else who explained that those other towers were only if I was booked thru the Paris hotel. Check in went smoothly from there! Three days later my card key stopped working. I went downstairs with my 6 and 9 year old at 9:30pm to get a new key. I overheard a male front counter employee chastise a man whose first language was not English about him not being able to understand how to follow where someone was pointing. When I asked him how to get a new key he said, “wait in that line.” (about 30 people checking in). I explained I had two tired children that needed to get to sleep. He then said very curtly “wait in line or he can call security.” We then sat outside our door waiting 20 minutes to have security let us in our room. Got a new key the next day.
