Stunning views
We had a wonderful time at this property. The living space overlooks the water and mount rainier with easy beach access. We also had access to kayaks which was great. Kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and just as advertised.
Gig Harbor is just beautiful. The house was lovely. We were 2 older, senior couples, old friends, meeting up to visit for a few days. We were all comfortable. Had a wonderful time visiting the area.

Hidden gem, even without TV.
Loved the seculusion, the view, the outdoor deck and furntiture. At first missed a TV but got over that quickly. Nearby Zog's restaurant, on Fox Island, is not to be missed.

Cozy beachfront cottage - well appointed kitchen. Great for sitting and watching the ripples, enjoying wood burning fires each chilly evening and morning! Wonderful spot to step back from busy weeks and outside demands. Gotta come back!

Waterfront Tree House Experience
Want to spend some time in a quirky but charming cabin that has a killer view of Puget Sound (and Mount Rainier when she dares to make an appearance)? This fits the bill to a T!
The price is all about the location and its proximity to the water. The cabin amenities are dated and worn, but hey - the views from the deck make up for dull knives and holey bedding.
Morning coffee bundled looking out on the water was our MO for our two week stay. We were in town for a couple of family events - so we were super busy. This cabin was the perfect place to decompress and recharge our batteries.

Great house for a writing retreat
I went here alone for a writing retreat weekend, and it served the purpose beautifully! The area was so quiet, even on a June weekend. Slept great—thick shades keep the bedroom nice and dark. Didn't have any trouble with the wifi when doing work. The waterfront view is stunning! Enjoyed going down the steps to the beach a couple of times each day to appreciate the changing tides. Thanks for a peaceful spot!
Pretty Cool Tree-house like Waterfront CabinAmenities are pretty basic so the big expense is for the location which is pretty spectacular. Enjoy views of Hale Passage and occasional peeks of Mount Rainier.Just a heads up - if you have any kind of mobility issues walking from the parking area down to the cabin and then down to the waterfront could be a challenge. It wasn't an issue for us. Also, be aware that they limit the number of people at the cabin to four - so don't think about inviting a few local family or friends! We enjoyed our two weeks here.

Beautiful setting and cute cottage. Enjoyed using the kayaks. Only negative was that the washer and dryer were not hooked up for use like advertised in property description. My son's clothes got wet while kayaking and it would have been nice to have use of the dryer. It also would have been nice to have use of the washer too. The rental price of this property should have been reduced due to the lack of was
her and dryer.

Thank you for visiting, Paul. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit and had fun using the kayaks. We apologize that the washer and dryer were not available during your stay. We will ensure that all amenities are working and correct. We hope to host you again soon.
Our stay at the cabin was most enjoyable. We were happy to know that the main room was larger than expected. There was plenty of towels, soap, etc. for our needs. The view was spectacular. I would recommend a little more attention being paid to removing dog hair from the furniture and floor. Also, you might want to include short instructions on using the fireplace, since can collect in the cabin unless windows/doors are open. In case you’re wondering, the flue was indeed open. Getting the baseboard heating to work was a bit odd. Overall, we very much enjoyed staying at the cabin.

Convenient location. Quiet residential area. Loved the area below the house where we could have our morning coffee and watch the birds and seals. We also saw some dolphins one morning! Great area to sip a glass of wine watching the sun go down and starting a roaring fire in the fire pit.

Amazing Views
We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Pictures don’t do it justice. Peaceful, cozy, intimate space. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet close enough to amenities in town. Daily walks on the beach at low tide are a must. Can’t wait to come back!
Great location for a quiet relaxing stay. The cabin is very private even with the neighbors next door. Gig Harbor was close and fun to visit. We came to do nothing and that’s what we did.

Perfect for long weekend
Pros: Sunrise views of Mount Rainier, kayaks, small space but well thought out floor plan.
Will stay here again on future trips to Tacoma area.
The cabin was clean and contained a variety of items to make a stay comfortable. The location was beautiful, quiet and within short distance of stores, restaurants and activities. We observed seals and birds and even got to see Mt. Rainier. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our time at the cabin and Gig Harbor.

Fresh air & zero screens for the win
This humble, dog-friendly gem is truly appreciated and keeps PNW waterfront accessible to artists fueled by nature. Enjoyed several relaxing days of outdoor exploration with good people. An overhead light for the dining table would greatly enhance post-dinner Scrabble games, but that's the only thing we'd change. Thank you for sharing your beloved cabin!

Great Winter Getaway
We loved staying right near the water in the cozy cabin. You could see Mt. Rainier on a clear day and the kayak was a perfect addition. You do have to crank the heat on those cold days but the heater was up to the challenge. Excited to come back another time!
