Relax and be inspired by the breathtaking 180° Puget Sound View! A beautiful, serene, island retreat that feels worlds away but only a few miles from the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Soak up views of the Olympics and all of Carr Inlet with delightful sunsets, while drinking a glass of wine at the outdoor fire pit, or while soaking in the hot tub watching eagles soar overhead. Decorated with stunning local Northwest images by renowned photographer and owner. This scenic, private, Mother In Law apartment is the lower level of a residential home with a separate entrance and private patio with fire-chat area, outdoor seating, BBQ grill and 4 person hot tub. The unit accommodates 2 people in their own bedroom or 4 total with additional, pull out sofa-bed with Queen tempurpedic mattress. Luxurious linens, a variety of pillows and blankets are all provided. This beautiful, private space with full bath and kitchen are appointed with stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, kitchenware, dish and laundry soap, coffee and tea, toilet paper and paper towels and all linens.
The unit is the lower level of a home and has a private entrance. Access to the unit is down 8 steps with a railing or walk around down a gentle slope.

This may actually be the best view of Puget Sound. It certainly is one of the quietest, most serene and calming homes we have stayed in. The accommodations are lovely, super clean and well thought out, and the setting is simply amazing. Our host was proactive and supportive and very welcoming. We will definitely return for another wonderful getaway!

Beautiful place and wonderful stay. Exactly as described and pictures of place were on point. View was AMAZING, just as pictured. Would recommend this VRBO to everyone. Cost was very reasonable, stay was clean, quiet and very relaxing. The hot tub was relaxing in the evening with the breeze blowing. Janelle was so nice and provided much info about the area. Would definitely stay here again and again

Beautiful views; even came with Orca pod sightings from the porch. Very quiet; so quiet that Orca’s breathing could be clearly heard on surfacing in the early am of our last day.

You cannot go wrong with this rental. The views are insane, sunsets ridiculous, the hot tub a plus, and Jennelle was so attentive to every detail in her design. Cute, cozy and clean. It was great for our family, and then romantic for me and my wife once we dropped off our daughter at college. Jennelle was very responsive, and even helped offer porivisions that we forgot at the grocery store. Absolute 11 out of 10!

This property is absolutely stunning, and I truly hope you get to experience its tranquil beauty personally! The accommodations are spacious, beautifully designed and very clean. The landscaping is extraordinary and even hosts lovely mature Apple trees growing on the terraced lawn. The unobstructed view of the Puget Sound is literally 180. Wonderful sunsets and cool breezes are the perfect backdrop for hummingbirds and the young deer that might visit quietly for breakfast!

Mrs Jennelle welcomed us the first day and was very nice! The property was beautiful and the view was amazing. The apartment under the house was beautiful and clean! It had everything we needed for our stay. Bonus was seeing the deer when we were packing to leave. Best experience and best place to stay! We will be back again.

“180 Degree Puget Sound View” does not disappoint! The view is absolutely jaw-dropping, and Jannelle’s place is the perfect pied-à-terre for anyone looking to escape the everyday and soak in the beauty of the Puget Sound.The apartment is beautifully appointed and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the hot tub and grill, which we used almost every day! The location on Fox Island feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded—like you’re in your own little world—while still being just a quick 20-minute drive from everything Gig Harbor has to offer.Jannelle is a gracious and thoughtful host—easy to communicate with and full of great recommendations that made our stay even more special. This is truly one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed. There’s something magical about waking up to that view and ending the day watching the light change over the Sound. We loved every minute and are already planning our next trip!

Beautiful home on a beautiful island with so many amazing amenities. Our favorite was the hot tub after long days of exploring the Olympic National Park and the surrounding nature. The best part about this trip was proposing to my fiancée while on this trip. Excited to return in the future and enjoy the space once again. What a beautiful peaceful oasis! Very quiet and relaxing with picturesque waterfront views. Saw several bald eagles flying overhead during my stay. The sunsets were spectacular. Unit was clean and well stocked all the amenities including a hot tub and fire pit. Bed very comfy and slept well. The owner is a very talented photographer and her gorgeous artwork is displayed throughout. She was very kind and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend!
