Nestled in the heart of the beautiful mountains of WNC and quietly situated in a cozy cove on the famous "Lake Santeetlah."
It boasts a large inviting wrap around deck on both levels. Lake views from every window. Spacious, open kitchen and dining area for entertaining all of your family and friends. Two story with private dock and lake access. 2 queen size bedrooms/1 bath upstairs on main and 1 king bedroom/1 bath with two additional twin beds downstairs. Separate living area upstairs and downstairs. Bring your family and friends and enjoy The Lake Life!

We offer stand up paddle boards and kayaks equipped with paddles and life jackets in adult and youth sizes.
Two of our kayaks are made for the fishing enthusiasts and if you prefer to sit down on your board, we have both options for you. Life Jacket sizes range from S/M to 2X/3X and for youth they accommodate 50 to 90 lbs. If you happen to be a special size, please message us and let us know before your arrival.
Boat rentals are available and will be delivered to you if you are interested in those, please message us before your arrival.

Exceeded expectations

Was better then expected! Clean, comfortable beds, nice linen & towels. Had everything you could need or want. Complimentary coffee/teas, water & snacks. Will be back!!

Pampered at the Lake House

The house has lots of charm. You will feel pampered by all of the little things that are thoughtfully left for you like a basket full of snacks (the teens loved that), bottles of water, a bottle of wine, travel sizes of shampoo, lotion, etc. The house is clean and in a great spot on the lake. The two floors gave our teens their own level and TV and porch. The only kitchen item we could have used was more forks and spoons. We rented a boat from the newish owners of Santeetlah Boat Rentals. They are very nice to work with. They were out of boats so they rented us their personal boat. It was a great week...even the one day of rain was great to watch from the porch. Easily would rent this home again.

Love it here

This was our second stay at this house and we will definitely be back again! Host is wonderful and really makes you feel welcome - so many special touches. We love this location on the lake. Plenty of space to play and relax on the water. 5 stars plus!

Wonderful Home

We have stayed at several rental houses on Lake Santeetlah, and this home was one of our favorites. Every bedroom has a view of the lake, and there is plenty of space for all. We took advantage of the many chairs on the covered porches and also the provided kayaks and paddleboards. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and utensils. Fire pit and associated chairs were really nice and we used them several nights. We don’t have any kids but there was a little play area for them downstairs with toys and books. Internet was surprisingly good, as we normally have super slow speeds at most of the other rentals. Only problem we encountered was the that upstairs bathroom door doesn’t close. Not a big deal, we just had to knock before using.
