This cabin sleeps 4 people MAXIMUM.

CELL SERVICE: My Verizon cell service works "ok" for calling or texting. Data usage is not the best but the Cabin Wifi works great.

FIREPLACE: For obvious reasons, the fireplace is non-operational during warm weather months. The fireplace is operational October 15th through March 15th.

PETS:Sorry, we do not permit pets of any kind.
There is no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted inside the Cabin!! You will be charged for the cleaning fee and damages from this. Take it OUTSIDE!! Cleanup your cigarette butts.

Cabin is set up with a starter set of toiletries, paper towels and supplies. Additional supplies are the guests responsibility.

All areas are open to our guests.

What’s available for kids and parents to do together in Gatlinburg? A brief walk of the Parkway offers more opportunities for family fun than you can complete in a day. Within a short walk, you’ll find a world-class aquarium, mini golf and mountain coasters, museums and arcades, and countless other attractions for kids and adults alike, right on the Parkway. Or you can fly over the trees in gondolas, chairlifts and aerial tram cars to discover mountain top family adventures.
Also check out Gatlinburg's wealth of arts and crafts, and its many artists and craftspeople, with one of the largest communities of independent artisans in the country. Nowhere is this more visible than along the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community Trail, an 8-mile scenic drive on the outskirts of Gatlinburg that contains a host of studios and shops.

The cabin was perfect for the two of us! It was very nice and clean! It was convenient to have the washer and dryer because we got caught in the rain a couple of times. We loved the pool table for some added fun!

Close but Cozy

The Grinning Bear was a great place to stay. It was close to all of the attractions but tucked away in a peaceful culdesac. The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. We are already planning another trip!

We had a wonderful time at the Grinning Bear cabin! The cabin is decorated so nicely, is well stocked and is in a perfect spot to experience all the fun of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect getaway

It was the perfect house for a weekend trip for just my husband and I, the location was perfect and it’s quick to get to both downtown Gatlinburg and pigeon forge! Loved the hot tub and fire place, would definitely stay here again in the future!

Peaceful getaway!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a peaceful getaway and we found it. The cabin is not far from most things in town, but still far enough away to be peaceful. Everything was clean and functional. The pool table was a definite plus. I would book again.

Perfect getaway!

I took my son on a quick getaway before starting college. This was the perfect little gem! We were able to make dinner one night with the well kitted kitchen. I learned a little about winning in pool and soaked in the hot tub all the while hanging out with my kid! The location is awesome! Close to a couple different trolley stops, grocery, pizza, and of course the strip. We enjoy coming to Gatlinburg a couple times a year and will have this place on the top of my list going forward!

The cozy cabin was nestled in the woods, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Amazing week long getaway

This place is even more beautiful in person. Two bathrooms is a dream come true. I loved how it was simultaneously private but close to everything. Our getaway was perfect. The jacuzzi hit the spot and we loved the charcoal grill to make some burgers and sausages to have on hand foe the week. The smokey mountains are beautiful and having The Grinning Bear are our basecamp made our trip so easy. We hung out in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This cabin is about 10-15 away from both places.

Great retreat for the Smokies

This property was great for us. It was outside downtown Gatlinburg so it was quiet and felt safe. Grocery and restaurant options nearby. Amenities were great - pool table, infinity game table, and hot tub. Space was just right for the 3 of us. Nice decorative touches made this place so charming and cozy. Communication with Scott the owner was easy - he was so prompt and responsive. This was our first experience with Vrbo and Scott made it a memorable experience - we would definitely recommend this cabin.

Absolutely amazing place

First off Scott and his wife we’re absolutely amazing host! They even responded to a 10:30pm email I had to send them when the VRBO app crashed and couldn’t see the code to access the cabin within minutes. The cabin is just a few minuets outside of Gatlinburg which made it easy after having a long day there but it seemed like you were by yourself in the middle of nowhere once you arrive. The cabin was absolutely spotless and plenty to do to keep yourself/kids entertained while enjoying your stay. The whole cabin made you feel at home while you were there. Can’t wait to book again. Thank you!

Cozy cabin

This was our first time coming to Gatlinburg. We were supposed to go to Anna Maria Island in Florida but hurricane helene was predicted to hit and be very damaging, so we planned to come to Gatlinburg to wait it out and see about heading to Florida. We booked this cabin last minute and I am so happy we did. Very clean, very cute. Hot tub was amazing. Having two bathrooms is so nice. The loft area is great. The only complaint we have is lighting. Especially outside on the porch. It would be nice if there was a sign with the house number at the end of the driveway too. Overall it was amazing and we would return again.

Welcome! We are a couple from New York with one little boy and decided to purchase a cabin in the Smoky Mountains after one fun filled visit. Both of us love to travel and do so often. My wife and I are both college graduates, her being a school teacher and myself a firefighter in NYC. We love being outdoors, skiing, hiking, rafting and much more but also love a good movie and time to relax and enjoy. It makes us happy to be able to share our home with you as it's a great joy for us and we are confident you'll love it!
