Villa Juliette

We were so lucky to find a week available at this villa. The pictures look great, but the reality was better. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, a home away from home. The property stands on large plot, with a massive swimming pool. There’s access to the garigue and a peaceful, level, circular walk. Supermarket 5 minutes away in Mallemorte, village Boulangerie 10 minute stroll. Absolute perfect property and location for us!

Lovely house with beautiful walks and close to village

The house is very clean, and has been very recently renovated; it's very on trend, decor wise. It's comfortable and had everything we needed, we enjoyed the petanque court and if it had rained, there was plenty to do indoors too. The pool was very cold and we didn't use it, but it was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the shutters and air con meant we could sleep well. Check in and out was straightforward. The only thing I'd suggest is that the listing makes it clear that a very well used footpath runs alongside the wire fence and so the garden isn't at all private, everyone can see straight in from the path.

Lovely Villa, Excellent Location

What we loved: Outstanding location! Large plot (~3,000 sqm) with oak trees, a forest across the street, a natural park behind, and the Durance a few hundred meters away. Very quiet, lots of privacy. Mérindol nearby. A short walk to the village for restaurants, bakery, and small shops. Not touristy, so no crowds. Intermarché in Mallemort is a quick drive. Great base. All Luberon attractions within an hour’s drive – plenty to explore for weeks. Immaculate and well-equipped. Everything felt new or in excellent condition, and the villa was spotless. Spacious. Good-sized bedrooms, generous living/dining with mezzanine, fully equipped kitchen, basement games room, and a lovely outdoor terrace. What we liked less: Layout. On the main level: 3 bedrooms, kitchen, one shower room (shower + sink), and a separate toilet (no sink). Basement has another toilet and a shower (no sink). Works best for one family or two couples. Worth noting as the listing isn’t fully clear. Pool. The cleaning robot didn’t seem effective. The pool floor went green after a few days, though it was cleaned during our stay. Not a big issue for us in September, but could matter in summer.

Slow life

Nous recherchions une villa au calme avec piscine dans le Lubéron. Nous avons été ravis. La maison est magnifiquement décorée la piscine propre et grande !! La salle de jeu est parfaite. Le salon et la mezzanine très cosy. Immense tv. Le pied total. Nous nous sommes reposés et tout était simple. Merci à Emmanuelle pour l'accueil et la disponibilité pour toutes questions. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Villa au calme, très bien équipée, très belle décoration intérieure. La grande piscine est un atout majeur, rien n'a été oublié pour faire de ce séjour une parenthèse de repos et de quiétude. Le village est très joli, effectivement à quelques minutes à pied. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
