Family-friendly accommodation in the historic old town of Unkel am Rhein

Dear visitors!
Our approximately 80 sqm apartment in the beautiful wine town of Unkel is located in the middle of beautiful half-timbered buildings on the first floor of an old 1930s building and has four beds in two bedrooms. The living room also has a Friheten sofa bed, which has a sleeping area of 200x140 cm. We also offer WiFi on request (some parents prefer not to have WiFi, please just let me know).
For babies and toddlers we can offer you a bassinet, a travel cot, a playpen and a high chair.
The apartment also has a large living room with dining area, a cozy kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet.
The idyllic location in the heart of the historic old town offers an excellent infrastructure. Bakers, pharmacy, doctors, hairdressers, a music store, artisan shops, a village shop with magazines, drinks, food, drugstore items, etc. V. M. Allow a relaxing vacation of short distances. In the evening load u. a. Two cozy wine bars to end the day.

family holiday

We were visiting family who live in the area, and stayed in this apartment for three weeks. The place had everything we needed, is very tidy, beds are comfortable. The host very friendly and quick to reply. Only a few steps from the river and lots of short hikes nearby. Big plus: lots and lots of boardgames for all age groups!

Beautiful house with lots of character

Such a great place to stay! The house has lots of character and the village pretty. We did walks and runs along the Rhine which is only a few metres away. Our teenage children enjoyed swimming at Bad Honnef and the train ride up the Drachensfels. Would highly recommend this place.

Character property

The apartment had lots of character and was a bit quirky. It was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy, too. Owner was very friendly. Good communication beforehand. Check in and out smooth. Lots of books for adults and lots of toys and CDs for children. WiFi was a little bit weak and erratic at times.

Wir waren begeistert von der liebevoll restaurierten, sauberen, ruhigen Altbauwohnung in der schönsten Gasse von Unkel. Es war alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht und sogar noch mehr.... (einziges Manko: kein Gefrierfach für die Kühlakkus - aber die Gastgeberin hat uns gerne ausgeholfen) Supernette Gastgeberin! Brötchen gab es wenige Schritte entfernt. Ansonsten gibt es ein umfassendes Einkaufsangebot wenige hundert Meter entfernt. Radfahren, wandern, Museen, shoppen in Bonn o.ä.......alles ist möglich. Gute Restaurants im Ort und der Rhein sowie der Drachenfels sind immer in Sichtweite. Für bewegungseingeschränkte Gäste ist die Wohnung nicht geeignet, aber auf jeden Fall für Paare und Familien mit Kindern (jede Menge Spielzeug vorhanden) Heizung funktioniert super.Matratzen sind sehr bequem.Leider hatten wir zu gutes Wetter, um ausgiebig in der Vielzahl von Büchern schmökern zu können (grins)Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert für Menschen, die Altbauwohnungen mögen! Wir waren jedenfalls absolut begeistert.

Ein empfehlenswertes Kleinid

Wir waren für eine Woche glücklich und entspannt in der großen und liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt. Zum Rhein war es ein Katzensprung. Unkel ist so schön restauriert und lebt. Nostalgischer Altstadturlaub

Lage: zentral in der Altstadt von Unkel, mitten in der Fußgängerzone (Weinlokal/Café gegenüber)aber im 1. Stock trotzdem ruhig. Vorteil: nur 30 m die Pützgasse runter zur Rheinpromenade. Nachteil: 300m Fußweg zum Auto, aber: kostenlos parken gegenüber der Schule in der Schulstraße. Zum Laden darf man bis vor die Haustüre fahren. Auf dem Weg zur FeWo (Linzer Straße) liegt das große VorteilCenter mit vielen Geschäften,Bäckerei, Tankstelle, Aldi und DM-Markt. An der Kreuzung Linzer Straße/B42 liegt eine tolle Bäckerei mit Café. 20 min bis Bonn/45 min bis Koblenz. Rheinfähre: in Linz (5min) oder Bad Hönningen(10min), Rheinbrücken in Bonn oder Koblenz. Zur FeWo: Schon das massive Holzportal und die Marmortreppe verbreiten nostalgisches Flair. Das setzt sich in der FeWo fort. Hohe Decken, Parkettboden, schicke dunkle Holztüren, Möbel und Schränke. An dem langen Flur liegen Toilette, Küche (Einrichtung von IKEA, aber alles Nötige vorhanden:sogar PadKaffeemaschine), nebenan Kinderzimmer mit zwei Betten, am Ende: Bad, gegenüber: großes Schlaf-und Wohnzimmer. Gutes Bett, großer Schrank. Gemütliches Sofa mit zwei Sesseln und Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen. Nachteil: Dusche und Toilette sind beengt, Lichtschalter für den Flur an der Wohnungstür und nicht am Flurende neben dem Schlafzimmer. Vorteil: für Familien: Viele Spiele und Spielsachen vorhanden. Alles in allem: Top FeWo! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöne Altstadt-Wohnung von sehr netter Vermieterin

Die Wohnung in der Pützgasse von Frau Schädlich ist sehr schön gelegen und perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub mit der Familie. Durch die liebevolle Einrichtung und Renovierung kann man Altbaucharme modern und sauber genießen. Bei unserem Urlaub mit drei kleinen Kindern hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Frau Schädlich hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns einen persönlichen Rundgang durch die perfekt hergerichtete Wohnung gegeben (Betten frisch bezogen, Handtücher bereit gelegt, Babybett aufgestellt, Willkommensgetränke…). Besonders gefreut haben sich die Kinder über die vielen schönen Spielsachen und Kinderbücher. Alles in Allem besonders zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt! Herzliche Grüße Fam. Gute Lage

Große Wohnung in schöne Lage in der Nähe von Rhein. In die Wohnung gibt es alles was man braucht, sogar Spielsachen für Kinder. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett. Einzige Minus wäre die Nördliche Lage des Fensters so dass die Wohnung etwas dunkel wirkt.

Super Wohnung - Schöne Tage mit Wandern verbracht
