Our just updated with all new furniture 2 story Penthouse Horizons Condominium is located on the 19th and 20th floor in a very sought after building. Experience what we've created with a vacation in mind. If you are looking for a vacation destination that is truly oceanfront, this property offers just that. -Primary Suite-The oceanfront primary suite features direct access to the oceanfront balcony to view the ocean and the beautiful sunrises from the King-size bed. Full bath, lighted vanity and soaking tub. -Guest Bedroom 1-The guest bedroom features a queen size bed, tv and also with balcony access. -Guest Bedroom 2-The guest bedroom features a queen size bed, tv and has direct access to the balcony (plus 2 twin size rollaway beds should you require occupancy over 6) . -The Living Room-The oceanfront living room is luxuriously decorated and has direct access to the balcony. Also featured is a 55'' TV with Cable and Remote -Kitchen-The kitchen is completely equipped and features all appliances. There are ocean views from the kitchen. The lighting and tile are just some of the finishing touches of this kitchen. -The Balcony provides outdoor seating. You can view the spectacular ocean, beach and even the pool from our spacious balcony. -The private oceanfront pool has access to the beach from the private walkway. There is also an 'after-swim' shower after a day at the beach. All linens provided with extra sets additionally. We also provide beach chairs and a supply of beach towels. PLEASE NOTE: I get many questions about the differences between waterfront, oceanfront, beachfront and ocean view. They are all directly on the water in EXCEPT for Oceanview. If you are looking for an OCEANFRONT, BEACHFRONT, OR WATERFRONT vacation rental being directly on the water and beach, please keep in mind some properties are advertised as oceanfront when they are actually OCEANVIEW. NO PETS AND NO TRAILERS>

Our host Valerie was amazing with her quick responses to any questions we had. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the unit was clean and well stocked. All balconies were actually closed off and not useable, which was quite unfortunate. That wasn't mentioned in the listing. I looks as though they are in the process of replacing all windows and doors, which is great bur they had the factory film still on them which did not make for a clear view. The building itself is aged and in need up maintenance. Only 1 elevator was working and one day/night BOTH elevators were out of service so it was 19 floors up and down bringing in groceries and personal items, making several trips. We selected this unit because of the location and the oceanfront access, but again I feel as though the price should have reflected the lack of outdoor access. Next year when we come back, we will definitely look to book with Valerie, just at one of her other properties. I feel horrible that we loaded the dishwasher but failed to start it in a rush to start driving north to beat the ice storm.

Great place over all.

We loved the place great views and plenty of room. Beach chairs were all broken wish we would have brought our own. A lot of the outdoor furniture was rotted and unusable. Other than that we had a great time!

We were very happy with the place. It was exactly like it was pictured. We had a few problems but there were taken care of immediately. We had a great month and found many great resturants and some of them we went more then once. This was my first experience with VRBO and I would use them again.

Close to beautiful beaches

We stayed here six days for an event at the Ocean Center.Pros: right next to the beach. Nice pool. Lots of beach toys (boogie boards, pool noodles). Designated underground parking spot with garage door opener. Lots of balcony space. Overall very clean. The property owner was very responsive and gave detailed information.Cons: the refrigerator has an unpleasant smell to it, causing some of our food to not be edible. There is construction going on. The microwave doesn’t always work due to the construction but that is being fixed. The property looks larger in the photos. Overall a nice place, especially if you enjoy the beach.

Beautiful Views

The views from the balcony were stunning but we were unable to sit on the broken furniture on lower balcony and the upper balcony needed a good cleaning. Kitchen has no serving bows or serving spoons and the ovens needed to be cleaned. Nice large dining table and comfortable beds. The condo is large, the layout very good and overall we did have a very pleasant time there.

Overall, the condo was nice & clean. I could never find a thermostat to regulate temp in the condo during my stay so it did get quite stuffy on the first night. Outside temps cooled down into the 60's for the rest of my stay so it wasn't a problem then. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for oceanfront views & quality lodging arrangements. Thank you!

Perfect view / perfect host

Nice condo with a perfect view! Very good beds! The place over all could need some renovation - first impression very nice but with a deeper more detailed look there are several defects (curtain rods, waterpipe kitchen, ac in upper level not powerful enough). The cleanliness on arrival left much to be desired. The condo was cleaned again free of charge and then it was good. Valerie is a wonderfully and perfect host. She was there for us whenever we needed her and solved every issue super quick! We would choose her as a host anytime again.

Location was perfect!

Beautiful views from every room! Close to all daytona attractions. Pretty clean, the only issue we had was the dust from lamps and fans in the bedrooms. The sliding door in the master wouldn't open. Water leaks in the hallway and upstairs guest room. Don't know if they were there before or after the hurricane. Upstairs patio furniture was torn and stained, again could be because of the hurrican that had just passed through. Really spacious and fit a family of 8 comfortably.

Spring Break Stay

Although, we had a great time during our stay in Daytona and the condo. There are a few things that would have made it better. First, I will say the interior of the condo was nicely decorated and clean. The view was fantastic and the pool area was beautifully maintained. However, both balconies needed a lot of cleaning. They were littered with rodents and bird droppings and the patio furniture needed to be repaired or replaced. Both posed health and safety hazards. The construction of the building (was noted in the description) was unsightly and the noise was unbearable at times. My family and I did enjoy the beach and loved the proximity to the shops.

Exactly what we were looking for.

Overall this was a good stay. Very clean and exactly as listing stated. The wifi would not come up for us to use but I did contact the owner and they gave suggestions to get it working and said to contact them if we had further problems. We tried a couple times to get it to work and couldn't but didn't make any further attempts to contact owner because we really were out busy enjoying the city. Also there were instructions to not turn air conditioning above 72 and it was mid 80's and 80-90% humidity while we were there. It was too hot for us women. Other than those two things I have absolutely no complaints. Was a great stay and would stay there again.

Fantastic View

The condo has breathtaking views from the top floor. Condo was nice but definitely needs a deep cleaning and some TLC. Just not as pristine as we’d hoped a penthouse unit would be. Paint touch ups, ceiling damage, a deep clean needed throughout. Doors are very difficult to open to get to the balconies. The top balcony couldn’t be sat on because of all of the bird droppings on the furniture and the furniture is coming apart. Was “nice” but wasn’t $4,000 for a week “nice.” And should definitely offer discounted rates during the construction going on at the building for the inconveniences occurring during guest’s stays. We still had a relaxing time but our splurge on a penthouse wasn’t all that we’d hoped it would be.

Valerie was excellent, check in great, the power and tv in master room did not work the first 3 or four days of stay, Valerie had a a electrician fix power and she got tv to work. One of the rooms didn’t have a tv, she new we had guests coming and bought one for that room. The hall ceiling had something leaking (either condensation or the hot water heater, Valerie had men come look at that right away. All the bed and towel and linen were nice, kitchen had enough pots and pans to cook simple meals, the ice maker worked but would not dispense ice. The out door furniture on 19th floor ok, the 20th was useable but very weathered. My wife and I stayed for 60 days, Valerie the host was always very nice and tried to fix any problems fast if I owned this unit I would be proud to have her as my host. The unit needs updated.

Amazing Views

We loved the views - sunrise to awake you is breath-taking, watching a rocket launch at night, dolphins in the ocean, even the storms were spectacular. We stayed a few weeks and there is plenty of room, our only suggestion is a deep cleaning and some updates. You need a car to get anywhere.
