Perfect Home Away From Home for A Weekend Gateaway

I booked the property for my husband and I to have a leaf peeping weekend away but his plans unfortunately had changed so I took my sister along instead. We loved the house! Kara greeted us as we pulled into the driveway, she was so friendly and said to text anytime with any issues. We had no issues or problems at all. The house was very clean, so well stocked, it felt like a B and B. She had a vase of flowers in the kitchen, fresh baked cookies for us, fresh eggs from their free range chickens (that we loved watching in the backyard). She left bread, butter, orange juice, water bottles. It was unreal. I felt so pampered. The mural on the wall was the most gorgeous painting ever, even signed by the artist herself. Beautiful work. Plenty of bath towels, condiments in the kitchen, a basket of toiletries just in case you forgot something at home. Truly a home away from home. FYI...for those that have trouble with steps, there is a flight to access the apartment, not an issue for us all, but be aware just in case it is for you. I will definitely want to stay here again when we visit the Skaneateles area again. It was only 35 minutes into Syracuse also. Will recommend to friends also. Thank you Kara and Jon!

Relaxing place

My daughter said that she and her husband really enjoyed their time. They were able to relax without worrying about stuff that needs to be completed at their home before the twins arrive.

Country setting

A beautiful lake view, quiet as it is out in the country. Only a few miles to Skaneateles, close lake access. Very clean and the host was very welcoming and helpful.
