THIS PROPERY IS NOT SAFE. THE 'HOST' IS SHADY AT BEST. THERE'S A REASON THE PICTURES ARE BLURRY AND NO OUTSIDE PHOTO'S ON VRBO. THIS MISTAKE COST ME OVER $2000.00.
Ongoing loud construction during my stay in the host's apartment above the unit I rented. My pets were scared the entire stay.
The unsafe construction for pets and me in the unit.
The kitchen was haphazardly installed allowing my pets to access spaces where I couldn't reach them and I wasn't even sure if they were still on the property.
There were loose and accessible wiring in the cabinet/kitchen setup where my pets were going and where I had to reach into when looking for my pets.
The 'fire exit' was not safe because the sliding door could not be opened when closed. I had to sit on the floor and shove my fingers under the door and move it one inch at a time to get it to open. The 'fire exit' door was part of the toilet area. Because I had to leave it open I was exposed to a window when I used the toilet.
The shower was exposed so when I stepped out of the shower I only had a small area to stand to not be exposed.
3. The water in the unit was not drinkable. I had to drive almost an hour round trip to get bottled water to drink. The smell and taste was awful.
4. The water that did come out of the faucet was only a dribble if the host was using the water above me.
5. The unit smelled of urine.
6. This unit had refrigerators and junk covered in tarps outside.
