Welcome to the lake! This secluded year-round home will be your oasis away from the world. This lakeside home on the shores of Otisco Lake in the Fingerlakes region of central NY has all the modern conveniences of a year-round home with the feel and location of a secluded rustic cabin. Have coffee on the deck in the trees overlooking the lake with only the sounds of the water accompanying you. Later, you can enjoy a swim or a float on the lake. There is a canoe for your use. You're just minutes away from Skaneateles and Marcellus if you'd like to be around more people and restaurants. You can also enjoy a quiet evening on the lake shore just watching and listening to the lake and the surrounding hills.

Beautiful and unique lake house

The property is beautiful inside and out. The location is quiet and relaxing. And the house made me feel like I was staying in a small castle. It is a great experience.

Otisco Lake cabin in the woods

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage in the woods of Otisco Lake’s west side. The home is beautiful, rustic decor with modern amenities. It’s very steep to get there, not recommended if you have difficulty with stairs. Views of the lake through the trees are very restful.

Beautiful Cabin on Lake Otisco

This is a very beautiful cabin on the lake. My favorite things about this property are: sitting down at the side of the lake - lovely; the property manager is wonderful and very helpful and responsive; comfortable beds; nice hot shower; the professional grade stove and oven; the views out of all the windows; little touches like sinks in the bedrooms; beautiful rolling wooden window shades; the beautiful wooden interior; nice, modern refrigerator; book shelves everywhere; a large kitchen table and a formal dining room, as well as a large living room, so there is a lot of space.

This home is truly a hidden gem. It sits right on the lake. The property itself is spacious and fully stocked for a large family . There is magic to this place. The only three “issues” are the steep steps down to the water, the lack of AC, and the bathtub that did not work while my partner and I was there. The shower worked fine. The home stayed decently cool even in mid August. Otherwise our stay here was nothing short of magical. Would highly, highly recommend.

Nice Cabin!

We enjoyed staying at this cabin, while visiting family on Otisco Lake. The views of the lake, through the trees was very nice and the place was quite spacious and comfortable for the four of us. It is about a mile down a narrow, paved road from the main road. The access from the parking spot is steep, but it wasn't a problem for us. From the cabin, the steps down to the shore are steep as well, but that is in the property description. I probably wouldn't recommend this cabin for families with very young children, but it worked out well for us.

Relaxing Lake House

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. Our favorite thing was spending time on the deck—from morning coffee to breakfast to just relaxing with a cocktail. We also loved spending time on the beach and in the water. We appreciated the grill and did most of our cooking outside. We spent as much time as we could outside in the breeze because the house was a bit warm, especially during the first part of our stay, which was unseasonably warm. We were able to open the windows in the north and south; however, the windows facing the lake do not open. The house is very roomy. We had ample space in the bedrooms, kitchen and dining areas. One dining area was perfect for conversations, snacks and board games. The other one we used for our puzzle. We pictured ourselves enjoying the library during the fall or winter. The neighbors were friendly and Michael, the host, was very responsive to our questions. Overall, we had a great stay!

Father and Son Together Time

Had a fantastic stay at the home. Expectations were exceeded. Nicely secluded with easy access to the lake. A great place to unwind and relax. But, close enough to town for access to food and drink. Michael was extremely helpful and extremely responsive. I woould recommend this house and location.
