Everything was great. The host was very nice. She even made us brownies and left a nice welcome note. The property was very nice and clean and there was plenty of space for medium sized groups. The neighborhood was also great with nice restaurants and good atmosphere.
This house has so much character. So many places to sit. Saw a mother & her fawn right by back deck. Two mornings in a row! Location perfect. Owner was spot on in communication. Check in hassle free. Stone mountain hike is fantastic. People in this small town are so friendly. Good vibes all around
We loved the house! It was so cute and clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the location too as it is walking distance to places to eat and Main Street. We will for sure stay there again we loved it!
Charming, comfortable. Eclectic decor that made up happy. We loved all the details that were in the structure of the home. The host was very communicative. We had a very pleasant stay.
Very lovely home the pictures don’t do it justice! You won’t regret renting this home. Ms. Ann is a wonderful host, making sure her guest are well take care of and provided for! Will rent again anytime we are in Stone Mountain!
Loved the historic aspect of this house and personalized so warm and welcoming. Roomy as well as cozy. Host was friendly, very responsive and helpful! Within walking distance to breweries, restaurants and shops in Stone Mountain Village. Minutes from Stone Mountain Park. Would love to stay again!
The original character of this house has been lovingly preserved, and the enclosed front and back porches did an excellent job of insulating it during the record single-digit temps of our December stay. The host, Ann was very reachable and communicative during what turned out to be a county-wide home water supply issue - even dropping off a case of bottled water for us. We’re appreciative of anyone who chooses to preserve and share vintage homes - so we were happy to support that decision by booking & enjoying this lovely house.
This trip was very important. I traveled to see my daughter and granddaughters who live in Stone mountain. My daughter just finished treatment for stage 3 cancer and we wanted to stay somewhere we could just be together. The home was beautiful! Very welcoming and comfortable. It was clean and very well equipped. The only items i couldn't find were a can opener and a blender (not a deal breaker). We bought a can opener and left it there. There was a problem with the air conditioner but Ann acted immediately and a repairman was on site within a couple hours. I got to meet our host Ann and she couldn't have been sweeter. She was very apologetic about the very slight inconvenience. We arrived fairly late at night and gained entry thru a lockbox. We spent the entire 5 days in and around the house. The house had more charm than can be put into a few words, including the secret garden. A true 100 yr old home with all the modern conveniences. All appliaces worked, nice fluffy towels, a personalized welcome sign and a welcome basket with treats as well as bottled water. 2 types of coffee makers, coffee and even hot chocolate for the kids. Lots of board games (we played Mystery Date). Tons of movies of all kinds. There are village shops within walking distance and a pub that plays live music (rockabilly) that we could enjoy from the back porch. It stopped by 9 or 10 pm. The beds were comfy. We felt very safe. I'll be back! If i could give 10 stars i would. Thanks Ann!
What a wonderful property! Everything was beautiful and super nice. Our hostess left us a stocked coffee bar and some snacks. The beds were super comfortable and there were some nice restaurants within walking distance. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and the house was very clean. Would definitely recommend.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this very unique property! The owner was more then accommodating!
