About this property
El Yunque, Breath Taking Views and Sunsets
Traditional 1 bedroom casita (off of the main house) outside of the city up in the PR mountain. Enjoy the view and quiet, sitting outside overlooking the Atlantic coastline, listening to the coquis. You will be close to the El Yunque National Forest. The home is gated for privacy and security. The casita has a kitchen for all your kitchen needs. This 1 bedroom is ideal for a couple or one with younger children. Please reach out to us if you have questions before booking.
You are welcome to use the covered, outdoor area. This area is shared with the house so please remember to pick up after yourself. If you use the pool table or other items in this area please leave it the way you found it. Pool table must be covered every evening as rain will ruin it.
Your welcome to any fruit on the property, but please only pick or take what you will eat.
Included are Roku TV in all bedrooms and the Bar, Cooling pool, Pool Table, Darts, evening dance lighting in Bar, covered eating outdoor eating area, gas stoves, there is fruit growing on the property you are welcome too if it is in season, and many other amenities!
Also remember your in the rain forest, your will have see things that live in the rain forest. While we try to keep them out of the house sometimes they get in. In trying to preserve the environment we try not to use chemicals. Please make sure to keep the door closed so things can’t get in.
Your welcome to use the whole casita. You can also use the area that is covered below.This is a shared area so if guest are in the main house please be respectful of them.
We are not on site, we are sometimes there in the main house. If we are there we would love to visit with you or try to help with any questions about the island. If something requires us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We have Jose and Dianna who manage the property and you may see them or meet them during your stay.
We are up in the hills away from the hustle and bustle. It is about 15 min to town and the Walmart, grocery store. We recommend stopping and getting groceries on your way to the house. Our house is in a neighborhood of friendly people.
You must have a car to get around. Public transportation is almost non existent on the island. They are easy to pick up at the airport. They do have some taxi services in the area.
On rare occasion the power may go out. We have a back up generator in the event that a outage last for more than several hours. The water system is a combination system reclaiming rain and supplemented by city provided water. There is enough water, however conservation is a must to assure during the summer with low rainfall you do not run out. In the unlikely event this happens contact us and we will work on a solution.

We bought our cabin about 13 years ago to spend time in the Mt's with our boys. We look forward to time here with our friends and family. We are excited to share what we love with others. We have since added a home to our family in Puerto Rico that we hope to call home someday. We have added that to our airbnb profile
