Aloha and welcome to The Compound- a unique private estate experience. This stunning property has four separate homes located on a generous lot with a private yard and shared community pool! Our prime location is in the heart of sunny Poipu, and is less than 100 yards from Brennecke's Beach! It's the perfect property to book for your small wedding or family reunion.

Our gorgeous estate consists ofa large home called The Ohana andthree 2 bedroom 1 bathbungalows.

The Beach Bungalow is roughly 1,000 square feet and has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

This booking is for just one home not all 4 homes.

This beautifully landscaped piece of paradise is vacation ready! Lounge by the shared community pool that is available to our Koolkondo guests at two other locations! Fireup the grill, and relax with your family and friends in this private tropical paradise.

Take in the sparkling ocean views and in less than a minute you can be snorkeling, swimming, or boogie boarding on one of the best beaches on the South Shore.

Come kick off your sandals and enjoy the many splendors of our incredible island.

Air Conditioning- Hawaii is known for its trade winds. Many homes on Kauai have been designed for "open airflow" using screened windows and screened sliding doors, and DO NOT have air conditioning. Please be sure and confirm when making your reservation whether the home you have chosen does or does NOT have air conditioning. Depending on the season, or even the day, temperatures typically range between 74 to 84 for the highs, and 60 to 74 for the lows, year-round. Refunds or discounts ARE NOT given for lack of Air Conditioning in a property

Any bookings longer than 7 days will be charged a $200 mid- cleaning fee. Our staff will come and do a "refresh" during your stay.

Beautiful location. Wonderful home. We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen is appointed well for cooking. The bathroom had shampoo and conditioner. If there is only one "wish" it would be that the twin bed mattresses were of a better quality. Otherwise, a wonderful place to stay near Poipu.

Lovely beach cottage

We had a great time staying at the compound. It was quiet and spacious for a family of 5. All the amenities were excellent and we had all the tools to make home cooked meals. We will definitely be back again!

Charming and convenient

The Beach House was so close to all activities at Poipu and it made vacationing there a dream. We enjoyed the pool, BBQ, and bicycles while staying there. There was plenty of space and all the comforts of home for myself, husband and 2 adult children. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house close to the beach

This house was perfect. It is very close to the beach. They provide plenty of beach toys. The house was just as described. They also provided plenty of fans and a portable AC unit in the house to make it comfortable. We would recommend staying here. The pool was great too.

Great beach access

Super clean & comfortable, easy walking distance to the beach.Only disappointment was the stocking of the kitchen - salt & pepper, and nothing else. A few spices & staples would have gone a long way, especially for the nightly price. Otherwise a nice rental.

Poipu Beach cottage

Darling cottage! The property was clean (inside and out), in a great location (easy walk to Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach) and we had great communication with property manager/cleaning crew! The pool was clean and the property well kept. Each cottage has their own picnic table. This property also includes great beach amenities that would be hard to travel with... boogie boards, surf boards, snorkeling equipment and beach chairs. The "extras" (fresh fruit and bottle of wine upon our arrival) were such a nice surprise! Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back someday! I would highly recommend this property!

Teenage children loved it

Took our 17/18-year-old and 21-year-old and they spent the entire days boogie boarding on the beach and didn’t even wanna go sightseeing—They loved it so much. The place had everything we needed the best part was the hot outdoor shower. And gear they supplied us for fun. Not even a block to the beach.

Gorgeous, Convenient, Easy!

Great little cottage, comfortable, clean, amazing wildlife viewed daily about 100 steps to beach. Pods of dolphins, turtles, seals, fun party atmosphere at beach with great mix of locals and tourists. Would like to keep this place a secret, but feel compelled to share. Have fun!

Terrific location

Property was great. Location was terrific. The place was just as expected. The rug in our bedroom was rolled up on one side and was a trip hazard. When I stripped the sheets to wash, there were several visible stains on the mattress pad cover. Obviously, hadn't been washed in some time. Plus there was a used floss pick that was left from someone that we had been lying on. I have pictures of all the above if you want to see them.

Poipu paradise

This place was absolutely perfect for our family. It had everything needed for the beach, bikes for exploring, and a well stocked kitchen with essentials. I especially loved the local coffee, fruit, Maui chips, and wine...such a nice touch! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Great Location

Perfect location that’s within a few walks to Poipu Beach; awesome to see the sea turtles settle onshore at sunset. Trail access to Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail not too far and worth the hike to see breathtaking sunrises. Boogie boards also included, which the nieces and nephews surely enjoyed. Definitely got my moneys worth on this vacation stay.
