Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your five‑day stay, especially the harbor views, the convenient proximity to Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor, and the peaceful wooded setting. I’m also very glad the home felt clean, comfortable, and well equipped for cooking — and that our communication and local guidance helped make your visit smooth and enjoyable. Seeing the Orcas is always such a special experience. I appreciate your note about the bathroom layout. The listing does describe the second full bath as being located in the detached garage, but I understand how that detail can be easy to miss, and how the weather can make that walk less convenient. Your feedback is genuinely helpful, and we’ll take another look at the wording to ensure it’s even clearer for future guests. We’re so pleased you had a wonderful stay overall, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime. Karen Palmer

Hi Layna, Dear Guest, Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful and joy‑filled review — it truly means a great deal. I’m delighted to hear your group had such a wonderful stay and that the home suited six so comfortably. Knowing the kitchen layout, dining space, and living room made gathering easy is exactly what we hope for, and I’m glad the fireplace added to those cozy evenings together. It sounds like you made the very most of Mitchell Bay. The sunrises and sunsets from that great room are spectacular, and I love that you were able to enjoy them each day. The patio, the boats passing by, coffee and wine outdoors — that’s the magic of the island. And what an incredible treat to have seals visiting so often, plus orcas on your very first night. Moments like those stay with you. I’m also glad the detached garage bathroom worked well for your group and that the kayaks added to your experience. Mitchell Bay is such a special place to paddle, and it’s wonderful you were able to enjoy it several times. Your kind words about communication and the booking process mean a lot. It’s always my goal to make everything smooth and clear, and I’m so happy that came through. It warms my heart to hear this was your fourth trip to the island and that you hope to return with the same group — and to the same house. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back. Thank you again for the beautiful review and for recommending the home so highly. Karen P.
