Jessie and Cleve provided and hosted a beautiful, well kept, clean property! The cabin was perfect for what my family needed. Their ranch guard pups Enzo and Freyja were absolute wonderful companions as well!
The hosts are so so kind. We had our wedding up here at their barn. Our stay was magical. The cabins were clean and comfortable. 100% recommend staying here!
Jessie’s place was beautiful! Had everything one could need. So refreshing to not have to worry about going to the store for dish soap and seasonings! The property was so well kept up complete with hammocks, badminton, chairs by the river and a trampoline. Our legion baseball team had the best team building bbq there one evening. Jessie has really paid attention to detail, right down to the beautiful antique furniture. Stay here. You’ll love it! Bonus-very friendly farm animals!
Great little cabin we had an awesome time exploring the area. The animals were really fun to visit with each day. The owner was very friendly and the place was very well kept. We went up the mountain road next to the cabin and checked out the Milky Way it was beautiful.

Nice little cabin with a large kitchen and dining area. Great place to stay while hiking around the area.
This was the perfect little getaway place to unplug and recharge. The cabin is wonderfully secluded from the world, allowing us to truly relax in a beautiful natural setting. We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and restorative trip.
My brother and I loved the property and its surroundings. Very nicely equipped and decorated. Highlight was being greeted by Enos, and sometimes by Frea.
We had a great family vacation in Challis this summer, and I'd wholeheartedly give much of the credit to our stay at Jessie and Cleve's cabin. We stayed at the smaller of two cabins, but found it to be far more spacious than expected. I think the space is used right: The sleeping areas were bit tight, but the kitchen, dining, and living areas were really open, comfortable, and well set up (even has lots of games, puzzles, movies, etc). The property is in a great setting - very private, with a big lawn and good creek access. The hosts are warm and welcoming, cabin was great, location was great... we already want to go back. There are a few cats and couple livestock guardian dogs on site, and we found them to be very sweet and friendly (dogs stay out of the yard, but like the driveway and parking area). They also have chickens, ducks and goats which are kept nearby, but are contained away from the cabin site (rooster woke me up once, so I shut the window and turned on a fan - no prob!). I can't imagine anyone having any issues, but thought someone might benefit from knowing what to expect. Jessie shared some eggs and soaps that she made. Kind of a cool experience! It took around 12 minutes to get into town - but who goes to Challis for the town!? We spent our time exploring the endless public land right out the back door. We stayed five nights, but felt like we could have stayed another five (...or more) without ever getting homesick. We're doing this again.
AMAZING! Everything was absolutely wonderful! The host was so kind and we enjoyed chatting with her. The animals were a big highlight and our kid's didnt want to leave them (dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ducks). The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was so cozy, decorated wonderfully, the games and puzzles were so nice to have, the fire pit and all the other outside features kept us busy. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, some of the best sleep we had on our trip. I can't recommend this place enough!

What a spectacular place for us East coasters to stay! Beautiful land, friendly animals, homey cabin and a beautiful view. Next time we are in the area, we will stay there again.!
This is a beautiful property with a nicely decorated, clean and comfortable cabin. The host is very friendly and thoughtful to anticipate everything we might need. Highly recommended for a quiet mountain get-away.

A great spot!! Very well appointed cabin, with a well-stocked kitchen and game cabinet! We had a great time, albeit one night was much to short!!
The well-appointed cabin was very comfortable and peaceful. Jessie and Cleve did a wonderful job on the restorations and are wonderful hosts. I would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone looking for accommodations in the Challis area. I wish we had planned to stay longer - would love to go back someday.
Words cannot describe how much we loved staying here!! When we booked this place, we thought we were just getting a small, affordable cabin — but we were pleasantly surprised! It turned out to be so much more. There was plenty of comfy space for the two of us, and the peaceful, tranquil setting was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. It truly felt like a hidden gem and gave us the perfect opportunity to fill our buckets. We’ll definitely be back!
We came into Challis for a weekend wrestling tournament. We didn’t want to leave the cabin it is amazing. So homey and the 360* views take your breath away! We were so sad to have to leave early for an unexpected event back home. We really can’t wait to make plans to come back and stay.
The cabin was wonderful, cozy, peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything to make a yummy meal. We were so glad we met the host and to hear about the property and their future plans. We would definitely stay there again as opposed to staying in town.
