So peaceful! Space to relax but proximate enough to do things elsewhere. I love that part of Oregon. And the alpacas have a way of growing on you. I already have my favorites. Deb & Paul made sure we had everything we needed.
My husband and I had an amazing stay on Paul and Deb’s property. It was such an incredible place to stay for our belated honeymoon/anniversary. It was our first time visiting Oregon and we had an unforgettable time thanks to them. They were so thoughtful and intentional with everything on the property. We had a fantastic time spending time with the alpacas, dogs, and cats and enjoyed our meet and greet with them. I highly recommend staying on the property and visiting silver falls state park if you enjoy outdoor activities.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Alpaca Farm Retreat. The host was very responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. One of the highlights was getting to watch the alpacas do their “spit test” on the day we arrived—it was definitely something we won’t forget! We were visiting Oregon for a family reunion, and it was especially nice that my 76-year-old sister-in-law enjoyed spending time visiting with the alpacas too. The peaceful setting made this a wonderful place to relax and spend time together. We would definitely stay here again.
If you love the outdoors and are seeking a base camp near Salem, you’ll love staying here. Everything you need with a bonus of visiting with the Alpacas if you choose.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the alpaca retreat. The apartment has been so thoughtfully curated, the hosts were so gracious with their time and hospitality, and the experience of feeding the alpacas is something I’ll never forget.
Debora, Paul, and the whole alpaca bunch were amazing to stay with! The place is cute and spacious with every need you might have anticipated. They took the time to teach us about the Alpacas while we gave them treats and pet them. Would highly recommend staying with them if you get the chance!
Peaceful location and plenty of space inside and outside of the unit. It was a special treat to be able to feed the Alpacas and learn more about them. Location was very easy to find and just about a mile outside of the main part of town. Owners provided thoughtfully selected snacks in the unit. Bed and linens were quite comfortable. Property is about a 30 minute drive from Silver Falls State Park which was amazing. We would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful hosts, and one of the best vacations I’ve ever had.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is very comfortable. We have family that live in the area and it was just what we needed for our visit over Thanksgiving.
