Weekend away
Great property! But not recommended for elderly people. Having to do the stairs and bunk. Very nice and clean and quiet.

No cell or phone service is dangerous
The property has no cell service and the owners haven't been gracious enough to provide phone service. This was not made 100% clear in the ad (not stated in the ad at all) and that information was only provided to me after I made the reservation with no refund possible. I had car trouble and was unable to turn my car off or it would not start again. The fact that there is no cell service meant that if I turned the car off I had no way to reach out to anyone for assistance. I do have AAA. I am a 68 year old woman and it was terrifying the thought of being stranded in the wilderness and having to roam the streets looking for help. So I had to pack up my car after only one nights stay and head for home at 8 pm in the evening. It was a 9 hour drive that took my 14 hours because I had to drive through the entire night without turning my car off and no sleep. If there had been a medical emergency or an emergency of any kind, I fear the outcome would have been terrible with no way to call for help. I asked the owners for just a one day refund (reserved 4 days) and I never heard a word back. If you have any concerns about being stranded in the wilderness with no way to call for help, I would recommend you stay away from this property.

About the host

Host profile image
Hi there!

Seth and Emmye are super hosts for local tiny home Air BnBs atop Lookout Mountain Georgia and Alabama. In 2018, we went on an adventure to scope out where we will plant our roots for our first stages of life. The Nest was the first tiny home we stayed in and made us fall in love with this area, community, and a new concept of living.

Emmye was hired as the sales and marketing manager for Little River Escape Tiny Home Community and wanted to create an opportunity for others around the world to experience this new way of life. Going tiny has been the most freeing journey. Our own personal tiny home has given us a new beginning, a home, and an unforgettable experience and life.

We hope to meet you when you stay in The Nest, the Cricket By The Creek, the East Fork Cottage, Where the Little River Runs, or the Royal Iris since we also live right near all 5! Please let me know if you would like a tour of our other tiny homes that are available to purchase.

Have a peachy day ((:
