The Grape Escape - This beautifully decorated, custom home is the perfect vacation, weekend or holiday getaway to enjoy the laid-back relaxation of Texas Hill and Wine Country in and around Fredericksburg, Texas. Perfect for celebrating anniversaries, birthday getaways, single-family vacations or quick girl's trips and great for any other time of the year like Spring Break, Summer, Fall or the Holidays! As so many of our reviews show, we LOVE hosting couples celebrating their Anniversary or Birthday. Enjoy a relaxing vacation, romantic weekend getaway, winery tour trip, Ladies Getaway or any of the countless festivals or events Fredericksburg has to offer. Ideal for two couples or up to four adults, your family and friends will feel welcome and right at home in this one-story updated remodel that has 1492 square feet of spacious living area and your comfort in mind.

The Grape Escape has an open and roomy feel, making the living room, dining room and kitchen the perfect place to entertain or relax. The home features high ceilings, hard wood floors, gas fireplace, crown molding and granite throughout and comes with all the amenities that make for a great vacation home. The home sleeps up to four adults comfortably within its two tastefully appointed bedrooms. It has a single bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

The interior is immaculate and clean, completely furnished and tastefully appointed with a cozy/travel theme. No detail was overlooked in comfort and convenience. A high Efficiency washer and dryer are available for guest use. The bathroom even has a hair dryer and teak bench in the walk-in shower. Your health is a top priority and we practice enhanced cleaning and sanitation practices throughout the home.

Two king size beds (sleeping 4 adults) are yours to sink into and relax and sleep. Each bed features Hotel/Spa quality extra soft sheets and blankets and plenty of soft or firm pillows to ensure a good night's rest. There are also two comfortably fluffy terrycloth robes in each bedroom closet to lounge around the house, use after the shower or to walk to and from the spa room in. All linens are included.

The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a variety of meals, small or large. Featuring granite counters, a large farmhouse sink, new appliances, top of the line small appliances (including a Keurig and Crockpot) - this is one well-appointed Kitchen! There is plenty of dining ware, glassware and flatware and everyone will have a seat at the dining room table that seats four comfortably.

Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan, as does the spacious and comfortable main living area. Spectrum Internet, RokuTV and Wi-Fi are included.

There is a 29" barrel charcoal grill/smoker for guest use in the back yard patio, perfect for preparing lunch or dinner meals. Cushioned seating for four under the pergola is a great place for meals and the firepit area also comfortably seats four. There are two swinging cage chairs to enjoy the breezes and wonderful Hill Country weather and string lights to bring the entire backyard oasis alive at night. Check in the kitchen, because we even have roasting sticks for smores! New for Fall 2023, we now have a 2-person hammock under our pergola which is perfect for enjoying the cooler Hill Country mornings and evenings. Lay down and relax or even take a nap! This home truly has outdoor living in mind.

The home also features a detached, indoor, climate-controlled spa room with a four-person hot tub. The hot tub is professionally serviced and sanitized after each guest stay to maintain optimum performance and cleanliness. Turn on the chandelier and make it cozy or turn on the 70” 4K TV and watch the big game, movie or show while you soak. There’s a mini fridge for drinks and a few outdoor games to enjoy as well. With privacy curtains, this spa room is an escape all itself!

This home is located just eight blocks from Main street and downtown Fredericksburg. You are just a four-minute drive to all the shops, restaurants and wine rooms that downtown’s main strip has to offer. Local restaurants like Pasta Bella (5 minutes), Hondo's (3 minutes), Old German Bakery and Restaurant (3 minutes), Mamacita's (4 minutes), Twisted Sister Bake Shop (4 minutes) and Woerner's Warehouse Café (5 minutes) are all extremely close. Local attractions like Marktplatz von Fredericksburg, the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum are all a quick three-minute drive away. HEB is just 6 minutes away too! And of course, there are the all the wineries and vineyards on the Texas Wine Trail (HWY 290). You are within 20 minutes of over 49 wineries and vineyards, so take your pick!
