Apartment with terrace, in the heart of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, ideal for hiking

This apartment has been renovated in 2015 and awaits its guests with newly designed rooms. It is located in the basement of a comfortable holiday home in the village Waltersdorf, above the spa town Rathen. Waltersdorf is located on the plateau between Lilienstein and Polenztal and embeds itself in the green of the forests, which extend up close to the place. An ideal starting point for biking and hiking in the Saxon Switzerland National Park.

The 28 square meter apartment can accommodate two persons. It has a fully equipped kitchen. The new kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, raclette, fondue sets (Chinoise, cheese), coffee maker, toaster and kettle. In addition to a dining area are available also Sat.-TV, A CD, DVD, and Blu-ray player and an iPod / iPhone docking station. The master bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200 cm), a wardrobe and a mirror which is located on the wall next to the window. The modern bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. As there are no carpets, the holiday for allergy sufferers is ideally suited. All rooms are also environmentally friendly heating with a pellet.

The apartment has a front terrace with barbecue and seating. You have a car park. The property is completely fenced. Pets are allowed only on request.

The apartment can be purchased separately, but also be booked to the main house to do so. It is a Non smoking apartment, smoking on the terrace is however allowed. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available for free. Mountain bikes can be rented.

Around the village there are numerous hiking trails that reward even the short walk with panoramic views of the surrounding rocks and mountains. The immediate vicinity of Rathen (two km), the bastion and Rathen are a special plus. The huge, undeveloped hiking region between Pirna and the Bohemian Switzerland offers a direct entry into the Saxon Switzerland Nature Reserve. Active guests will appreciate the extensive network of cycle and mountain bike network. Both Pirna and Dresden are reachable by public transport (bus, boat, train). Bad Schandau Rathen and offer fine dining. The Tuscany spa awaits you even in bad weather in just six kilometers away. There were shopping possibilities in Bad Schandau.
