Freshly renovated cabin on Turtle River Lake designed for ultimate comfort and serenity. Huge master loft includes king size bed, private bathroom, a soaking tub, and clean spa robes. The 2nd bedroom on the main level has a queen bed & smart TV.
The recently finished lowest level has two bunk sets, an additional living space, bathroom, and laundry area. This level has beautiful walk-out views to the lake. Enjoy the foosball table and the arcade game as well!
Enjoy the large sunroom with screened windows; fresh air and sunshine abound! Features include fully stocked kitchen, dining, 2 bathrooms, & wrap around deck. For those crisp mornings, enjoy french-pressed coffee or your favorite tea at the coffee bar.
The space
Watch your favorite programs on the Smart TV, cozied up on the spacious couch, or play a game on the high top table with beautiful views of the lake.The large wraparound deck offers stunning views of the lake and yard. The blacktop griddle grill can cook everything from pancakes and eggs to burgers and steaks.
Get out on the water with the two paddleboards included during your stay; this large lake is perfect for exploring! Also, this lake is well-known for it's fishing, so drop a line and catch dinner! We also have a spacious pontoon for your group to rent if you'd like (sunset cruises are the BEST!).

It was very quiet and cozy. We loved it. The only thing is the black-stone was very dirty and the grease trap seems to not have been cleaned out in awhile. Took us awhile to clean it since that was our dinner plans.

Family friendly close to camp

We stayed here because it is on the same lake as Concordia Language Villages, where our kids went to daycamp. The ease of access to camp was great, both from the road and the water. We spent our days fishing, used the kitchen to cook family meals for six, and enjoyed some movies at night. The VRBO was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay a home away from home.

Turtle River Lake stay

Beautiful place for a family to stay. Hosts were wonderful and the place was great! Definitely will stay again for a long weekend in the Bemidji area.

Cozy little place!

This place is seriously adorable in every way. The decor makes the place feel so homey. It was SO clean and has so much space. The beds and furniture are all super comfy, the kitchen is equipped with anything you need as far as utensils, dishes and storage while you're there. Alisa was awesome to keep in contact and answer any questions I had during our stay. The property itself is so relaxing and has everything you need to have a fire, sit outside or go for a boat ride and fish! Would definitely book again with no hesitation! Book your stay !

Cozy Cabin

A beautiful stay. While this cabin is cozy it is also very spacious with many amenities. Hosts were very helpful and friendly! We hope to be back in the Summer.

Beautiful Getaway

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here. The house is decorated very nicely, and it felt very homey. I loved all of the extra touches that felt like the owners really cared about their guest’s experience. Our only complaint was that it was 80 all weekend, and we were unable to turn off the heat. We ran the air conditioners, which cool the house very nicely, however, the heat was also pumping out of the vents, and we were unable to turn it off due to it being locked on the thermostat. Other than that, we had a great stay, and I would highly recommend this place! The pontoon rental was a great addition to our stay, reasonably priced, and I would recommend that if you want to swim and be in the water. Such a gem of a place!!

Best woods retreat

Such a great pet friendly place to stay with even better owners. Very clean place, owners are very responsive and helpful no matter how many questions you have. Quiet and quaint and such a beautiful property being lakeside. Close to town also and within a good distance to 2 great state parks.

"Best cabin we've stayed at"

Our 7 and 10 year olds exclaimed, "This is the best cabin we've stayed at!!!" Couldn't agree more!Beautiful setting in the woods on a lake. We went in the dead of winter, but the house was so warm and cozy, we never wanted to leave. Thoughtfully designed with everything you need. Great kitchen and awesome game room in the basement. Were delighted to see the 4-season porch was warm enough to lounge on - even in -20 weather!!!And the bedroom with soaking tub was THE BEST! So cozy and intimate. Alisa was fast to respond with any questions and had the cutest welcome basket for our kiddos upon arrival. Can't wait to visit again!

Quiet little get-away

Alisa’s property was lovely. We were very thankful that she had a fully stocked kitchen with any tool we needed! The griddle was a huge perk! The property is close to many trails & state forests, and we were able to enjoy short hikes with our dogs. Communication was simple which made for a stress free vacation away from the cities.

Wonderful Setup

This was for my wife’s 40th Birthday. When we arrived the host had a little decoration done when you open the door. My wife absolutely loved!! The view, the neighbor, the lake and the cabin was phenomenal! I will definitely be contacting to make this an annual visit. Thank you for everything!!!

Magical place

This place is absolutely amazing. We have been staying in quite a few VRBO in MN over the years. This one is up there with the best ones. It is a great location just north of Bemidji and perfect for a small family. The hosts are absolutely amazing and always answered all our questions. The lake itself is very peaceful and relaxing. Overall, this is an amazing place for some relaxing days at the lake!

Winter Break Getaway

My husband and I traveled with our two college kids, both home on break, to spend some quality time together. We enjoyed hiking and snowshoeing at Lake Bemidji State Park and Three Island County Park as well as right out the door of the cabin and onto Turtle River Lake. The cabin had everything we needed, was very clean and we enjoyed the special treats that greeted us. The loft area with leather chaise and soaker tub was so nice and great for reading and relaxation. And our communication with Alisa was exceptional. She promptly answered any and all questions we had. Now we’ll have to make a visit in the summer to enjoy even more of the lake!

Beautiful view but in need of some upkeep

The location on a small lake was beautiful, but there was no cell service in the area, which should be noted.Although the decor was on trend for the 30 something market when one looked beyond that there were some areas that needed attention.Main floor shower needs grout attention.Nice to have travel items but provided, but laundry hamper had sand in the bottom of it. Main floor bedroom ceiling fixture was dirty and there was duct tape on the ceiling, the sheets were too small.Both the king and queen pillows flat and one needed a duvet not a thin blanket, the electric bed warmers were appreciated.The wood flooring although lovely was not trimmed out at the patio doors, which were finished poorly and the tracks were dirty in particular the patio door to the deck.One window did not have trim.Not many Windows had screens or handles to open them.The deck was large however the deck furniture was covered with bird droppings.The building is in need of repainting and the eves were full of pine needles which caused the eves to overflow and rain to pour down onto the deck and the front entry, resulting in the door matt being soaking wet and then the inside matt also becoming wet.Seedlings are growing in some of the eves, and there were several down spouts that were not connected.The kitchen was very well equipped however there was no water pressure making it frustrating to wash dishes, produce or hands, coffee station was cute but the kettle needs descaling.Great Wifi
