Freedom Hill Hideaway is a luxury 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin tucked away on 1.5 acres in the highly favored Timber Creek Trails area. Paved roads lead you to the cabin which has a circle drive and sits back just off the road to allow for more privacy.

Full cabin access

The cabin has modern stainless appliances, marble countertops, large HD flat panel TVs in each room, exquisite pillow-top mattresses and luxury bed linens. The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed, a full bath, coffee bar, and French doors which open to a balcony where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee and listen to the birds, or watch the deer roaming through the woods. Downstairs there is another full sized bathroom and a bedroom with a king size bed.. The cabin has a welcoming setup with an open floor plan featuring high ceilings and exceptional lighting with large windows offering great views of the tranquil outdoors. The back of the cabin has a 400+ square foot covered deck that allows views of a large, pristine forest with pines and hardwoods. This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a meal, or play a game of cornhole. Or, you could choose to unwind after a fun day by enjoying the hot tub which offers privacy in its own attached hut just off the back deck. Really nice place

This is a very nice cabin, no issues and the staff is very attentive. The ice maker was not working , they brought us ice as soon as I mentioned this. Also, brought us batteries for remotes.

The floors were not swept well. Furnished well. Shuffleboard was fun. Not secluded but no property seems to be anymore in BB. Hostess was very helpful and kind.

Our second time at Hideaway! Enjoyed our stay again! Perfect layout and beautiful views of the forest! Comfortable bed, cozy living area, relaxing hot tub, just right small kitchen and large deck amidst the pines. Short drive to local restaurants if you don’t want to dine in. All basics provided. Just needed our clothes and food. Beware grocery store is 20 min away (if you like to cook your own meals like us…. logistical planning saves lots of time) Looking forward to returning!

It was fine except for the air conditioner. Someone set a schedule to change it 75 every single hour. Couldn’t sleep the first two nights because I woke up pouring in sweat.

Amazing!!!

Everything about this property is beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close to everything, yet far enough not to be bothered. The cabin is beautiful. The kids played corn hole every evening and played the other games there for their use. The interior of the Cabin is nice and cozy. My only recommendation would be new kitchen pans and knives. We cooked every meal but one at the cabin for the week we were there. The pans sticky terribly and the knives apparat new but not good quality. Other than those two MINOR details this cabin is 100% a must for someone looking to stay in the area. The lake is just a little over a mile down the road and is BEAUTIFUL!!!

The location and cabin itself was really nice; however, the towels and linen all smelt really sour. Every single towel we had to wash because they were all honestly so bad! The TV downstairs flashes black while on, and the TV upstairs didn’t have a power cord. Manager offered to have maintenance come and bring a new power cord if they had one for that TV but for the price you can definitely find better.

Peaceful Getaway!

Freedom Hill Hideaway was beautiful! The cabin/area was super quiet and just what we needed as a family of 4 trying to escape the city for a relaxing time during fall break. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was decorated super cute, and we loved sitting on the back porch and taking in nature. We even saw some deer while drinking our morning coffee! We hope to return sooner rather than later!

Stunning.

This cabin had way more room than I was expecting. It was stunning, the decor, the layout, the patio. The patio was our favorite part. I love the table and being able to eat outside. There was two king beds in each room and fold out beds if needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back! Our only “suggestion” is the game table behind the couch. It was hard to keep the little kids hands out of it and it just seemed to take up unnecessary room. (This is just our opinion though others may enjoy it). Thank you moonlit cabins!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for my 40th bday. My husband and two friends had an amazing stay - the cabin is perfect, the woodsy views are stunning (even in the rain). And the owners communication was superb. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

I couldn’t say enough about this property and Moonlit Mountain Cabins. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, set back in a private setting. Several times at dusk and dawn, we saw deer. The trees surrounding it were beautiful. The short drive from 249 to the property is a lot of fun. The property itself has several enjoyable amenities including shuffle board, teethed ball, a private outdoor jacuzzi, fire pit, tvs with service, wifi, etc. The location is GREAT - there are several restaurants and things to do close by, including access to Beavers Bend State Park, with swimming, boat rentals, gorgeous hiking trails, activities for all ages. If you go to the state park, make sure you stop by the visitor centers. The staff is very helpful! This is the best stocked VRBO we’ve been too. Incredibly clean, we had one maintenance issue with was immediately resolved with respect to our privacy and schedule. Could not recommend more highly!!

Nature abounds!

Absolutely beautiful cabin! Staying in this cabin was like being in the forest while being inside the comfort of an air conditioned cabin all at once! Every window has a gorgeous green forest view. My daughter and I stayed for a couple nights while exploring Beavers Bend State Park during the day. We enjoyed the comforts of AC, beautiful inside decor with natural wood everywhere, hot tub, hot showers and chill time on the couch in the evenings! We loved having coffee and wine on the balcony and spacious porch amongst the beautiful pines and watching deer walked by!! The small kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. Plenty of linens and towels are provided. Our host, Kendra, was very responsive. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back!!

Best cabin for a weekend getaway!!!

This cabin did not disappoint! It was so beautiful! Kendra the property manager was very helpful when we got lost! The cabin was super clean! It was just my husband and I so we slept upstairs and the bed was so comfortable! There is literally not a single bad thing I can say about our stay! We are already looking a booking another trip over winter!!

We had a fun time over fall break! Beautiful area. Worked good for 2 families with kids. We did have a few complaints though. The directions were awful. Took us 30 minutes to find the cabin and ended up having to ask someone in the area. The supplies needed to be restocked too. No soap, only 1 trash bag, and no cleaning supplies for messes. (6 kids) the downstairs bed is not comfortable we woke up in pain in the morning. Sorry to be negative we did an overall good experience but we have stayed in many cabins and this one just wasn’t what we were expecting.
