NEWLY RENOVATED 2022

Tired of long ferry lines and crowded beaches? You should head on down to Matagorda, Texas. “Island Time" condo is located on the beach in the Bahia de Matagorda gated community. It has amazing unobstructed ocean views. You can walk over the dunes or drive a short 3 minutes to the beach. Come enjoy the community pool, multiple fishing spots and of course the beautiful beach!

"Island Time" is a 1300 sq. ft. condo that sleeps 8 comfortably. There are two bedrooms on the 2nd floor with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds plus a bathroom with a tub/ shower combo. On the 3rd floor there is a loft bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds plus a bathroom with a tub/ shower combo. Both TVs have Netflix and Disney+ accounts. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig K-Duo slow drip or pods coffee maker. A charcoal grill is provided and may only be used on the ground level. There is a large 2nd floor balcony with a picnic table and five outside chairs. A smaller balcony is located on the 3rd floor with two chairs.

There is an ice machine and coin laundry by the community pool.

All renters must be at least 25 years old
No smoking or vaping inside the house

Great ocean view

We enjoyed the pool and the ocean at our stay. We watched the sunset on the beach after a short walk through the dune path and at the Matagorda Bay Nature park. It was a beautiful view from the porch & balcony at night with the full moon.

Great place for family vacation

The home was clean, updated, with very well equipped kitchen for cooking & eating in, and beds were nice & comfy! The location was great as it was a short walk or drive to the beach. If you walk there may be mosquitos so use bug spray (we brought some but host thoughtfully provided spray also). Large patio was beautiful for viewing beach and sunrise/sunsets! Sommer was extremely quick to respond to any question I had before and during the trip. Very helpful!!! We would definitely stay here again!
