We stayed here for a week and it was the perfect location with kids being right on the beach and having a pool. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Oahu!

Thank you Alexa, it was our pleasure, also thank you for taking good care of our home.
This listing is completely as advertised. My wife and I had absolutely zero issues. Owner/manager are very responsive and helpful. Beach is awesome and the sea turtles are an added bonus. We loved not having the hustle a bustle of the big city and the north shore is so fun.
Nice place to stay on North Shore. Close to PCC and Kualoa Ranch. Sign up for a free Maika card at Foodland in Laie. You'll save a lot on groceries. Turtles on beach every night is fun and educational. Walk out to the beach from this 1st floor condo!

Hi Boyd, Thank you, it's always a pleasure to host you!
Check in was easy and hassle free, Carole gave easy instructions and communicated great during our entire stay. We had no issues, very clean, all beach equipment was there and in great shape. Patio furniture perfect for sunrise, sunset, and having dinner. There is everything you need, with in close vicinity, shopping, groceries, and hiking trails. Saw turtles everyday on the beach.

Jared we were so glad you both enjoyed your stay and we hope you will return! Mahalo
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle Haven. Carole was exceptional with communication. Check in was easy, peppery location was amazing. Had all of the necessities for a 6 day stay. Turtles on the beach after sunset and before sunrise each morning. Weather was very windy this time of year which made snorkeling hard, but didn’t damper our time!

Hi Rebecca, thank you for your review, we really enjoyed you and family as our guests! The wind was crazy last week and that is not common just a weird moment in the Pacific. Our trade winds are back to normal and we hope we see you again. Thank you for coming!
If you want a secluded spot with the best private beach you can’t ask for me. Carole was amazing as an owner. Only one caveat… if the trade winds aren’t blowing it can get pretty warm in the condo. Only thing I can say that was negative.
The property was just what we were looking for. It was clean, well maintained, next to the beach with an ocean view and the owner was very friendly and accessible. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again.
Very clean, nice sheets and towels and beach chairs. Great for 2 people. We love to walk and there really wasn’t a place to do that. We did use the gym everyday. Nice selection of weights.

HI Ann, it's true our private little beach only lets you walk 15 min one way and 15 min the other but there is a wonderful walking paved path with horses all along the way about 10 min North. There are some beautiful mountain hikes close by as well, hopefully you will come back and try them.
Thank you for coming!
My 10 year old daughter and I loved everything about the condo. Being able to literally walk out the door and onto the beach made our vacation a thousand times better! Geographically, the location is perfectly situated to easily explore the North Shore and surrounding areas. I highly recommend Carole’s place and hope to be back.
We were more than thrilled with our stay! The condo has everything you could need, and more!
The view is incredible, and while walking the beach at night, we always saw several large sea turtles. The location is away from the hustle-and-bustle of the busy city, which we enjoyed. Carole, the property manager was easy to communicate with, and always readily available to offer suggestions nearby attractions. We can't wait to come back!
Overall, being able to wake up in the morning and walking out right on to one of the most beautiful beach on Oahu was amazing! The best part was waking up during sunrise with my son and walking towards the left side of the beach and seeing sea turtles, crabs, various types of birds and even sea cucumbers at the end of the beach. This trip felt like being in paradise while we were there.
The location is great to visit Kualoa Ranch (<15 min), Polynesian Cultural Center (10 min), Turtle Bay Resort (20 min), the famous North Shore (30 min), Dole Plantation (~40 min), and about 45 min to Waikiki. Other stops near by include: Ted's Bakery for their famous pies, Hukilau Cafe - wonderful banana pancakes, and the famous Bonsai Pipeline.
The condo was very clean, had a great kitchen and was very comfortable. Carole did a great job of communicating with us. The only downside: If you have any issues with strong scents, you might have some difficulty with this place. The couch and all decorative pillows and throw blanket were sprayed with something very strong smelling. Strong scented dryer sheets were put in all of the dresser drawers. Our sinuses were killing us from the strong smells. We solved the issue by piling all of the pillows and throw blanket in a corner of the living room, covered the couch with the extra sheets, and put the box of very strong scented dryer sheets that were under the sink in the bathroom outside. Just FYI - the bedroom is located on the street side of the building and next to the elevators where people tend to congregate and talk & you will hear cars at night.
We absolutely loved this property! It's located on a quieter part of the island, which we really enjoyed. We absolutely slept to the sound of waves every night and watched the sun rise to the sound of the rooster crow every morning. We could often find sea turtles nearby after dark and took full advantage of the easy access to the beach. The property has plenty of amenities including beach gear and towels and access to a pool and workout room. The space is decorated beautifully, and we enjoyed everything about it!
Loved walking out on to the lanai and grass.Could see the turtles at night on the beach when they came ashore to sleep. Some units were owner occupied and we were invited to join in a 4 o’clock “cocktail “ hour. Picked up fresh seafood from local market yum! Folks were super friendly and taught my husband how to barbecue on briquettes. There was a hiccup with the cable and owner worked hard to resolve.
Construction was an issue and we could not use outside balcony because of personnel outside our door from 8 am to 4pm. I still rate this property high and will return.

Hi Dave, thank you for your review. Yes we knew the construction was in Phase 2 and we were transparent in our description and offered a reduced rate. I am happy to offer you a discount if you return, the project will end soon.
The balcony is available on weekends and after 4pm. We thank you for coming and hope you return!
The outside of building is old, but they are in the process of redoing it. The view to the ocean is incredible and the beach is so nice and not alot of people like the public beaches. We saw lots of turtles. Bed in condo was comfortable and the space in conda was great for us. We loved sitting out on the patio every day.

Hi Tonya, I'm so glad you enjoyed the view-it's amazing! The condo is being completely upgraded, slowly but surely. We completed the waste treatment, and all new piping inside the building. 2023-2024 all the outside is being updated completely-we will be good for another 60 years! So exciting! You will have to return :)
We needed a quiet and relaxing atmosphere after we both lost all of our parents in the first 6 months of this year. This was the perfect place, with an incredible host. The condo was beautiful and clean; very well thought-out. The beach was right there so we never did use the pool. It was fun watching and snorkeling with the turtles right off the beach. We will return should we visit the North Shore again!
The Condo was everything you need and some. It was wonderful having the beach with in walking distance. Beach was our own personal area. Was perfect, not huge waves. Enough to go in and enjoy. The condo - very clean. Exactly what we needed. Bedroom does face the parking lot - some nights a little loud due to people arriving. But nothing bad. Definitely a place for some R& R. And that’s why we chose this place. Would love to rent it again in the future Thank you Carole, for your accommodations.
Right next to beach. Quiet area of island that we really enjoyed. Everything works in unit and it is very clean! There is no oven in the unit but there is a small countertop air fryer/oven appliance. The bed is pretty comfortable. Lots of cups, glasses, plates, etc. The elevator is next to the bedroom - it is pretty quiet though and didn’t hinder my sleep at all. It was lovely listening to the surf all day/night!!

Shannon, Thank you for coming and taking such good care of our condo! We are glad you had such a special visit!
If you don’t want the hustle of the busy Waikiki and want more of a quiet, countryside, oceanfront experience right out your back door, then stay here. Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean and wake to the roaming Roosters then take 20 steps to the sand and waves crashing! Sea turtles come up on shore just before dark so perfect for a sunset stroll.
Carole was a perfect host and has thought of every amenity for the space!! It’s an open floor plan with the perfect breeze way for the ocean air to circulate!
Food trucks are walking distance which was perfect!
There is construction at the site but only during week days and we were gone most days so it didn’t effect us. The work is mostly at the far right end currently so it wasn’t too bad where we were the times we were there during the day.
