Great location for exploring and hiking!
We were exploring the area from St. Ignace to the Porcupine Mountains were we went on a backpacking adventure to Lost Lake for 2 night. Made the condo our home base! It worked out great! Thank you for helping us have an unforgettable adventure in the UP!
Good location to the porcupines, everything was set up well and as advertised. No issues with the hosts. Smelled a little musty, could use a good refresh.
My family just had a good time in unit#5. It is a little bit run down but has everything we need. The building is very quiet surrounding by woods, only takes 20 minutes to the porcupine mountain. The unit can comfortably accommodate up to 6 peoples. The owner is extremely friendly with quick response. In summary we are happy with the stay.
We stayed for two nights (age range from 21 to 59). Instructions were left on the kitchen table with what to do to upon arrival and departure. Very clear and helpful. There is a musty smell (as others have mentioned), but the room freshener helped. The best part is the location - within minutes of Porcupine Mountain State Park and Lake Superior.
My husband and I stayed here for a summer weekend while visiting Porcupine Mountains State Park. It's about 15 minute drive into the park and less to the Lake Superior shoreline. Being closer to the park or beach might have been nice, but this was a good value. We prepared all meals in the condo. We saw a deer out the kitchen window, and an eagle and fox in the neighborhood. The down star on cleanliness: although the place had been cleaned, they've obviously been fighting (& winning) a battle with flies, as there were several dead flies laying around since the last cleaning. As I'd rather have dead flies than live ones, this was not a bad thing.
This unit was perfect for what we needed. Having access to a kitchen before and after a long day of hiking the beautiful Porcupine Mountains was exactly what we were looking for! When we arrived it did have a musty smell but turning on the a/c fan helped greatly! One down fall was the no cell phone service (which I knew was a possibility in this area) but also poor wifi so communication was difficult.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. I am surprised you had poor wifi. We have never had that complaint. It is high speed internet so I am not sure why you had poor service. We will look into that.
