The cabin location was perfect, only 5 minute from Stone Mountain. The view from the front porch was amazing. The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. Cozy and quaint.
Cabin was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. It was perfect for my wife and myself. The hosts were excellent in answering all questions, including early in our planning. We loved the views, and location was great for seeing Stone Mtn. There are two other cabins near by but far enough away to maintain plenty of privacy. We stayed three nights and wanted four but our cabin was already booked.
Cabin 1 has amazing views. It was breathtaking to soak in the hot tub and look out across the valley toward Pilot Mt. The cabin itself was rustically perfect for my husband, our golden retriever and myself. It provided everything we needed. Toiletries and linens were provided and very nice. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen table view was fabulous. We had perfect weather, which allowed us to take advantage of the cabin's outdoor space. Contact with the owner was always quick and friendly. The location was ideal for visiting Stone Mtn, Elkin, Sparta and New River State Park. It's not shiny and new, but it is perfect for what it is.
Great little cabin in the woods that we used as a halfway break on a Florida to Michigan family road trip. Very convenient to Stone Mountain state park , gorgeous view, pet friendly , remote and exactly what we were looking for.
Highly recommended
Great little cabin with a picturesque view. We spent 90% of our time outside on the porch, in the hammock, or in the hot tub. Would definitely stay again
We were just absolutely blown away with this place!! Best view ever, and the cabin was so very clean, nice, and cozy!! The hot tub and fire pit were so wondeful!! We all had such a relaxing, enjoyable stay!! Thanks so much for letting us book this place!!!
We had a relaxing anniversary getaway to this cozy cabin with AMAZING views. We enjoyed the solitude of being nestled in the woods while still being able to connect to our teen son at home (WiFi in cabin was great).
We enjoyed the proximity to Stone Mountain State Park for some great hiking. We also visited a winery in Elkin.
Overall a lovely experience and we look forward to staying again.
Cabin 1 is a cozy cabin with a nice view. There is a view from the deck and hot tub. The cabin is equipped with a charcoal grill, counter top burner, counter top oven, microwave and fridge. There is a country store just before you
get to the cabin. The store serves some food,
has ice cream, and has daily needed household items. Stone Mountain State Park is just beyond the cabin, and has a beautiful waterfall just .6 miles from the trail head. This is a great getaway for the adventure type, and those looking for a laid back vacation.
This beautiful little cabin is perfect for a couples getaway. We celebrated my birthday by watching the best birthday sunrise of my life from the cozy front porch rockers. The weather was cold and windy so we didn’t use the hot tub or the fire pit, but they would be wonderful amenities in better weather. The indoor fireplace kept us warm and cozy. This cabin is in a peaceful, secluded area yet very close to SMSP. We hiked to the waterfalls and trout streams within the state park. Note that there are three cabins on this property with plenty of space between cabins. Parking is tight especially for large vehicles. It’s a 20-30 minute drive to major grocery stores and restaurants, so come prepared. There is a small general store close by. We did see a few stink bugs inside but also saw evidence that the owners are actively addressing the problem to the best of their ability. Overall, this is a wonderful little cozy cabin and we hope to come back again!
Ed and Martha,
Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with us for our 5th anniversary and for letting our fur babies join! The cabin and view along with the outdoor space are amazing!!! We have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The hot tub was clean and a welcoming invitation while riding out hurricane Ian. The gas fire place was also a hit considering the power went out 3 times. (Not that we cared about the power). We came to be secluded and enjoy some much needed relaxation and that is exactly what we got! The photos do NOT do this place justice. You have to see it for yourself and experience the adventure :) We will be back!!!!
